Hi all,
Well done to the losers. Welcome back rockie, and hello to all the new members and the more experienced ones too
Watcha frogga
Somewhat shocked and surprised at a 1lb loss this week - suspecting that the food (cake, twinks hobnobs etc) I've been eating all week will catch up with my buttocks for next week's weigh in
Food for today ....
oats in water and honey
jacket and beans
kippers and veg
snacks: possibly.... (there's a sneaky pack of Aldi shortbread fingers in my drawer that so far is unopened....)working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
morning!
Frogga:hello:
RS - good luck for tomorrow x(((hugs)))
Rockie :hello: great to have you back!:j
Procrastinator - well done :T
the Tuscan bean soup was very tasty, here's the recipe
Tuscan Bean Soup
1 leek
2 carrots
1 red pepper
1 400g tin chopped tomatoes with herbs
1 vegetable stock cube
1 200g tin butter beans
1 400g tin chilli beans- slice the leeks, peel and dice the carrots and core and deseed the pepper
- put in a large saucepan, sdd the chopped toms and fill the empty tin twice with cold water. Add the stock cube.
- Drain and rinse the butter beans amd add along with the chilli beans. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 20 mins.
the recipe says it can be frozen for 3 months and that you can add some spaghetti for the last 15 mins of cooking to make it even more filling.
It was really nice and its adaptable to whatever you might have lurking in your storecupboard. I didn't have tomatoes with herbs but just added my own.
Good luck with your weigh in Marion.

Decided to do a bit of old-fashioned calorie counting as my portion sizes are obviously much too big and I seem to graze all day long too, so need to keep track of myself somehow.
Having a very odd eating day today. It's a trigger day for eating rubbish or mega-binging as OH is out all day at work (thank heavens he works at home a lot or I'd be even fatter lol. I usually go out and get biscuits and cake and icecream and pig out when I am on my own and there is no-one to see me being all greedy. This is the first time for ages I haven't waved him off and then popped out to waitrose for some vanilla toffee crunch Haagen Daaz. Still have the urge to eat loads though, so been bingeing on veg. Scary how the calories build up though, even without too much naughty stuff!
So far today have had:
Breakfast: half banana, half a tin of tuna and half tin sweetcorn (170 cals)
mid-morning: can of campbells mushroom soup (200)
lunch: mashed up swede, sweet potato and butternut squash with carrots and peas and gravy (200)
snack: some coleslaw (200)
See, I've eaten loads already and it's only 2pm! Greedy cow.
I calculate I have 730 cals left to spend today, hopefully I will get as far as dinner time without munching them all lol.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -

Well done JoJoB - did you notice that your snacks used up more calories than your meals?;) It is something to think about anyway! More power to you if you can manage it, I am not yet anywhere near the point where I can control my portions, I think I would starve if I had to manage on half a banana etc. Actually I think I am physically incapable of eating only half a banana :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::T
Good luck with your eating plan!

Well I did well last week with my 100% self challenge so will be going for it again this week. It was actually easier than I thought it was till I fell ar*e over tip into the feeding trough Friday night!:o:o:o But I did get back the very next day and the one after that so for me that is extremely good going!! So I am happy to report a loss of 1.5 lbs this week!:T:T
Yesterday I had
Breakfast - 3 syn free pancakes with blueberries, vlf fromage frais sweetened with splenda on the top with a tbsp of blueberry syrup drizzled over the top (free, free 2 syns)
Lunch/Dinner - Roast loin of pork roasted whole till done. I then cut all the fat off and seperated into chops, put back into the Remoska and put about a cup of tomatoe and basil sauce with a bit of extra chilli hot sauce on top to spice it up a bit, cooked like that for about half an hour. It came out so tender and lovely tasting with mashed potatoes, carrots, peas and brocolli. (All free except my portion of the sauce - 3 syns). For dessert I had a meringue with fresh blueberrys and sweetened 0% Total and blueberry muller over the lot (2.5 syns)
Had supper around 8pm as I had eaten so much at lunch time I really wasn't hungry!
Supper - Toasted bacon and tomato sandwich with 300g McCains oven chips (heb, free, 3 syns)
My Swedish guest is enjoying my cooking and can't believe we are allowed to eat so much! Now if I could just get those crisps and chocolates away from her:rotfl:

Thank you, although it is about 4 pounds less than that due to a rather spectacular gain last week:o! However I am not going to change it for morale reasons:rotfl::rotfl::p!When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
