lunch probably poached or boiled egg with more toast  unless the soup is done
dinner will be something with the ys frying steak i bought yesterday, probably fajitas or stir fry (with lots of veg) might even chop it up and make a chilli.

Thanks everyone for their kind wishes, it cheered me up this morning.
I should come on here at breakfast time when I take my tablets...it would keep me going before the painkillers kick in!!! I have to have food before taking my tablets...I tried taking just one HM (sugar reduced) hob nob at bed-time and it's not enough...oh the stomach cramps!!!
So now I have to rearrange my food intake so I have enough left for "supper". I don't like taking large(ish) amounts of food so late, but if I want to sleep and not have cramps I will have to...not sure if I will lose weight this week though.
I don't feel very great (apart from the constant pain) at the moment...I am getting all bloated round the face. Two friends have come straight out and said to me that I really look grim, just looking at my face! I have come out in spots on my face now as well, and I HARDLY EVER get spots! So now I am getting out my face stuff and working on a cleansing routine...my DS1 will be shocked if he gets up in the next half hour or so...I have a green face mask on!
At least I feel that I am doing something positive for a change!:j
It looks lovely out there, all snowy and sunny, but I daren't go out much....knowing me I would fall again! I have fed the birds though...and topped up the rat poison in the trap...the blighters are back again!
Anyway, food today:
B: Muesli
S: bananaHM Veg soup, HM bread
S:Orange
T: HM Beef curry, brown basmati rice, and veg
S: HM bread toasted + SF jelly with fruit
Oh well back to marking all the assessments I took home at Xmas, I feel well enough to get some done today.
That is once I have taken off this green mask...I had almost forgotten I had it on!
Talk soon, and take care all those of you heading out into the snow and ice.

Well done Moneypooh, hold on there Frogga - keep doing just one good day at a time...
Spent 2 hours shovelling snow today - ooh my thighs. The sky was so blue I felt like I was on holiday.
I put my heart rate monitor on so I could count the shovelling as exercise towards this week's total and forgot to switch it on for the first hour, but even so clocked up over 400 cals. So I felt justified in adding an extra teaspoon of olive oil to the impromptu 'hummus' I made for lunch - chick peas, garlic, water, lemon juice olive oil and a little coriander all eaten with a pitta bread I found lying around on its lonesome ownsome in the freezer. Not the most appetising meal ever (it needs tahina definitely) but after all that work it tasted like ambrosia.
Had some of my 'value' salmon trimmings between poached egg and toast for breakfast - absolutely scrummy. Nice than the expensive stuff I think. Planning veg shepherds pie tonight with tom sauce (Heinz) and green beans.Popsy0 -
Tally for day:
bfast egg on toast, salmon, juice
lunch chick peas, lemon juice, garlic, oil, coriander
tea veg shep pie, green beans, ketchup.
snack apple, banana from weekly allowance.
Total spend today = 79p leaving £6.04 for the rest of the week. The shepherd's pie is remarkably cheap and delicious - Delia Smith's recipe - only around 26p per person today as I got five individual pies out of it, not 4. Very filling. I use a tin of toms in with the rest of the veg rather than a layer of sliced ones as I don't like them much.
Meanwhile, after my digging, EVERYTHING hurts. I'm dreading tomorrow. Wouldn't that be funny, though; "I can't come to work today. No the snow is fine, I just can't walk after shovelling it!":rolleyes:Popsy0 -

What did you put in your sheps pie, that is incredibly cheap? I use brown or green lentils in mine with mush and onions, may do this tomorrow, but very interested in what you used as I do like a change.
Not been too bad today, had a very small cake intake, but also took in fruit have had lentil and carrot soup, will just make some tagliatelle in a minute now DD is home.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

I try to arrange that I have enough food left to take my supper medication else I am left feeling nauseous for hours on end. It is a difficult balancing act trying to make sure you have enough calories for a light snack that will be ok to take your tablets with.
You can still lose weight and eat at least 4 to 7 times a day just small portion and a bit of forward planning. That is how I managed to lose my 9 stone. Fibre is your friend as it fills you up as well as being healthy for you.

Morning gang
Still bumbling along and holding things together, probably because I am back on the porridge again for brekkie, soup for lunch and a normal dinner (sounds like an advert for meal replacements)
I am going to see my family this weekend and they are usually all on diets so I should be OK for healthy stuff and not too many temptations although I'm sure we'll have a curry at some point.
B: Porridge with skimmed milk and water
L: Leftover scouseWhatever I have time to make when I get home as OH is working so usually beans on toast or pasta pesto and salad.
S: Fruit and maybe a skinny cappuccino if I have time to go out today
Have a good day all0 -
Good morning all, OH got the pavements outside the house and a path to the garage shovelled and salted so I may just make an excursion outside today. Starting to feel a little housebound and it has only been 3 days! Wouldn't make a very good Scott of the Antarctic would I?:rotfl: On a positive note I havn't spent any money:T
Today I have planned:
Breakfast - bran flakes with milk and strawberries (heb, hea, free)
Lunch - bacon & eggs with hashbrowns (free, free, 3 syns)
Dinner - pasta layer bake (sort of like lasagna but with layers of boiled fusilli instead of lasagna sheets) with brocolli and cauliflower on the side. (Can you tell I ran out of lasagna :rotfl:)
I really need to work on my portion control because I have weighed myself again (I know I shouldn't) and I am not losing anything. Maybe I should come off the EE plan, but I do love it so much, I don't really want to:p. But according to SW I shouldn't need to worry about portions, and its not that I eat HUGE portions, just the same as the rest of the family and they are all normal size:j.
What do you think?
Love
