IM ALIVE!!! :j
It was slightly overblitzed, but damn tasty. Everyone wanted a 2nd bowl of it. Thanks so much for the recipe Retiredlady. I will definately be making it again very very soon.
See you all tomorrow.0 -
Thanks all for a warm welcome to this thread and for the praises about my weight loss
This has been the second day in a row that we (husband and I) have done a flying visit to London delivering bean bags and then picking up the beans today.
So two days running have taken our own food to stay on plan as much as possible with circumstances like this. Back to some normality tomorrow.
I have made some homemade turkey and vegetable soup for tomorrow. My husband is having dental work done tomorrow and maybe an extraction is on the cards so soft food will be the order of the day but nutritious.
Thinking also to make my homemade burgers also tomorrow which are soft in texture with being homemade. I can either make turkey or beef depending on which we fancy as I have both meats in the freezer.
Enjoy the rest of your evening I am looking forward to watching the Victorian farm later this evening for a bit of relaxation. Take care all till next time.

Isparticus - you made me smile today, thanks!
Glad you liked your soup. Bet it didn't stick to the spoon like my winter veg soup did.
Bad budget day today. Parents evening straight after school so left husband in charge of tea if he was home in time - he was. Made a curry for 4 using all the chicken that I bought for fajitas for 6! And my youngest still wants fajitas tomorrow! It's his favourite meal.
I'm going to have to get some veg soup out of the fridge to eat at the weekend at this rate! But he discovered you can slow cook (brown) rice in the oven - put it in in cold water and left it for the two hours we were out on a lowish heat and it was perfect.:cheesy: Useful to know for cooking in advance on this late finishes.
bfst :toast,
lunch: (free at work) ham sandwich, grapes
tea: chicken balti, rice
snacks; apple, juice.
total for day £1.87 leaving £5.47.Popsy0 -

Daily eating plan Morning:j Brrrr! It is cold out there, what is the positive side of that? Well for one thing it makes it easier to pick up after Charlie when he goes walkies :rotfl::rotfl:! Sorry, it might be a little early in the morning for toilet jokes!:rotfl:
Back to the serious stuff now, this is what I will be having today:
Breakfast - oats so simple, sliced banana and yogurt (heb, hea, free)
snacks - apples and oranges - free
Lunch - Last nights leftover beef and veg made into a little cottage pie with the left over mash! (all free) :money:
afternoon tea - scan bran cakes - 3 syns
Dinner - Steamed fish with onion, chilli and tomato topping served with rustic chips (free + 3 syns)
late night nibbles - 10 pieces of licorice (just because I like it honest:p)
I would normally have a couple of glasses of wine on Friday nights but I am having an alcohol free week to see if it makes any difference to my weight loss. Even though I syn it I am sure it slows my loss down!
Love

Have a fab dayI love going to the casio are you going to the one in Chinatown or the Leo? Let us know where you go for your meal, always out to find out good places around here.
Well I still feel rough today, had a bad day yesterday as I couldn't face real solid foods so I just ate empty calories like cake, crisps and cinnamon rolls (had previously tried a tuna sandwich and nearly hurled). Will really try hard today to eat real food as I won't get better without it.
B: 2 wholemeal toast if I can manage it
L: Small soup or sandwichNot sure yet, maybe spag bol depending how I get on
Have a fab day all
