Morning all. :hello:
Am pleased as punch to say another 4lbs off for me (since Monday) which makes 10lbs in 10 days :j AND I've hit 7 stone!
Woot woot woot woot whoo hoooooooooooooooo
Putting this sudden burst down to changing around my eating, so that it currently looks like this -
B - Carb/Protein - eg - Low fat cheese spread on toast
L - Protein/Salad - eg - Chicken and avocado
Mid afternoon - Protein shake
D - Protein/Veg - eg - Tuna steak and brocolli
Evening - Protein shake
Back to basics with the food and loads of protein. Not to an atkins level as I can only eat tiny amounts, but I am supposed to aim for 80g protein per day, and at present I'm not reaching that!
Well done to all the losers and STS, and a line _____ for all who've lost their way. :TWeight loss to date - 8st 13lbs :j0 -
isparticus and procrastinator at SW we are told the week is like a vase with 7 flowers in it, just because one is all limp and no good you dont throw the whole lot away so if one day is bad dont throw the whole week away just get straight back to it. One bad day doesn't constitute a bad week!;)
Brilliant analogy! When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Well done Shelbell. You are an inspiration.0

Yesterday wasnt exactly perfect. Didnt have time to find a slow cooker recipe for the bacon and leek soup, anything I did have seemed to have lots of cream in it. Will have a better look today. So tea was the back up of egg and chips with some George Formby bacon. After that there was a rogue box of Maltesers. I have prayed to the weight loss gods for forgiveness.
Today
Bran Flakes
Fruit
Tuscan bean soup
Beef Jerky
The bloody soup!
Bovril.
Enjoy your day as much as you can.
Paul
Enjoy! - Its free on SW btw:D
3 leeks sliced
3 large potaotes cubed
1 stick celery sliced
chopped bacon - as much as you like!
mixed herbs
salt & pepper to taste
2 pints water
slice/ cube the potatoes, celery and leeks and bacon (reserve a bit of bacon to brown and sprinkle on top of the soup when serving) - put in a pan with 1/2 pint of water & simmer for 10 mins. Add the rest of the water, herbs, season to taste. Cook for another twenty minutes with the lid off. Allow to cool. Blend. Reheat when ready to eat. When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Morning All,
Some nice reciepes here - have not done soup in my sc yet... might try that this weekend!
Well, last nights WI resulted in a 1lb gain. Wasn't good last week but now I've found you all, I should hopefully be good :-)
Today, I've got planned:
B - porridge with skimmed milk & sweetner
L - 1/2 portion of hm stew with jacket potato
D - hm stew (made loads!) with veggies
Snacks - banana, apple & grapes.
Providing I have points left, Ive got some WW chocolate bars in the freezer so will have one of those with a cuppa when I get in from the gym tonight.
Keep going everyone

Feel really queasy today, ate at Ikea and had meatballs with pasta (instead of chips) and haven't felt right since. Not quite sure what to do with myself as I am in work but feel really ropey and shaky
B: Nothing yet
L: Veg soupFish and SW wedges with peas (if I can face it)
Have a good day all, hope I feel better soon0 -

Go for it - let us know how it turns out!:D To be honest I always cook my soup in the pressure cooker - 10 minutes and I'm done! I don't have a slow cooker:o, I'm at home all day anyway so don't see the point, when I was working I didn't feel comfortable leaving something plugged in and cooking while I was out of the house all day - a little old fashioned I know!
