Seriously though - we really are all telling yu to eat more - you can't ask for a better diet than that!:j
sounds very good to me!:j
I eat loads of food in a day but mainly the right stuff compared to my 'larger' friends who dont seem to eat much at all to me.
When it comes to evening snacks it is hard but I try not to eat my evening meal too early or the evening seems very long. Try and have something low cal that you can nibble onif you feel the need. Ryvita do a wheat snack called Limbos which are only about 60 cals a bag(like a crisp type snack) or 3 syns or there's yoghurt or another snack I love is skinny cow lollies(triple choc is to die for) and these are only about 84 cals each so not too bad either.I also nibble on grapes and clementines sometimes. Alpen light bars or ryvita goodness bars are quite nice too.
Hope this is of some help.Do what you love :happyhear0 -

When you're sat in front of the tv with nothing better to do, no distractions to keep your mind occupied. Those are the nights where I just want to eat any junk I can get my hands on! Now, I do manage to resist most of the time but cave more times than I would like to!
I was wondering if anyone would like to share their tips for staying motivated so that I (and hopefully others!) can try to learn from them!
Find a distraction! Take up knitting, sewing, crochet, embroidery, craft work - anything to keep hands and brain occupied. It helps me enormously.
You might even end up with a few cheap Christmas presents, too!:DIf we are supposed to be thin, why does chocolate exist?0 -
I play card games on my mobile or pda while watching tv - hands are busy, brain is distracted
Just had my crumble ramekin. Am enjoying my extra daily portion of fruit, I must say. Lots of fruit, little bit of crumble topping and no craving for afternoon cakes, chocolate etc.
OK so the crumble has about 12g of flora light in per ramekin, plus sugar, so (from flora light website) that's about 4g of fat with 1g saturate per pot. Not so bad I think - not much more than 1 proper digestive biccy - and I can NEVER eat just one of thoseworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Sugarfree Marshmallows. When do I get the money?
The Sainsbury ones are 6 cals per marshmallow I believe.0 -
Wow, so many new peeps to get to know and so many fantastic loses since I last posted a couple of days ago.
Welcome all :T .
Today is DD's birthday so routine has gone to pot and all I've achieved apart from walking a 'dog in the fog' or three is eating and washing up. All good things though,
Breakie - oatabix, fruit, yogurt, coconut etc
Lunch - poached egg on toast with butter and a yogurt for lunch.
Snack - raisins and date
Tea will be leek and bean hotpot, yum
ethansmum I agree with everyone else about uping the 'fuel' intake. I don't count calories or anything else and I can't stand being hungry. Work out when you get most hungry and plan to have something at these times. I used to find I wanted to eat after walking the dogs in the morning so ended up having a second breakfast because it was comforting. So I changed to having a cuppa first then breakie after walk. Also I was always hungry and grumpy mid afternoon (just ask the kids  ) so now make sure I have a cuppa and a nibble to keep the blood sugar levels up. A little and often as they say. Good luck, we're all here for you :T .
Take care all and have a good evening. I clean my teeth after tea and as I'm too lazy to do it again that usually stops me heading for the kitchen for a snack - note the usually, not always.

Hi everyone
checking back in here after 6 weeks away, i haven't even begun to read backwards yet (not sure i'll ever catch up) but hope everyone is doing well and sticking to their new year's resolutions, if any were made!
i'm having an extremely bad week, just home after so long, no shopping and no will to be good, i've decided to relax for a week and start being sensible again next week after re-stocking the cupboards etc.
however, although i doubt the scales will say the same after this week, i was really pleased to come home and find that i weighed exactly the same as i did before christmas! a really positive place to start from, yay!
happy new year to one and all and look forward to catching up with how you're all doing over the next few days..
