Good morning! :hello:
Today's meal plan is a little bit off wack today as I forgot my lunch and I'm using up left over bits in the cupbards/freezer so that I can become almost completely HM! So....
B - Yog & Slice of HM malt loaf (2.5)
L - Ham Subway  (5)
S - Other slice of HM malt loaf (1.5)
D - 2 Quorn burgers, Spag hoops, Egg (6)
Milk (0.5)
I want to stick to that religiously today! There's no room for picking bits so I have to eat that and only that! :think:House saving Targets:

morning all!
RS - I cheated and used a packet of cheese and chive dried mix from asda then just tossed the spuds in a tiny bit of olive oil and baked for about 40 mins or so. I quite like to use cajun spice to make some really spicy wedges too - dont need much as they are HOT!:D
day off today - have promise DH that i would make him some Twinks Hobnobs with added chopped nuts - I will never be able to resist them!:D hopefully will be able to stop at one;)
B - poached egg and spaghetti hoops on toast
L - HM leek and potato soup with a seeded roll
D - new spuds, mushy peas and 2 veggie fingers(need using up out of the freezer)
snacks - yoghurt, banana, hobnob.
have a great day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Hi
I enjoyed my yoga class last night, so glad I've gone back. No walking though so will have to make up for it today.
Dinner yesterday was spanish omellette ad salad leaves. Had a couple (4) digestives when I got in from yoga with a coffee. Then I remembered I had cake and crisps at work cos it was someones bday. No snacks for me today.
Cereal for bfast. Roll and philly for lunch, lasagne and whatever veg I find when I walk into town later for dinner.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

Good Morning everyone! I am very bleary eyed this morning, I woke up at 2:30 in the morning and could not get back to sleep. My tossing and turning was starting to seriously annoy my grouch of a husband DH so I decided to get up and make a cup of tea. Went back to bed at 5:30 and just got up a few minutes ago:o Still feel tired though and I also ate 2 brownies that were hidden in the freezer for emergency snacks:o:mad:.
Do you ever have nights like that? It might have been because of a parcel I received from Canada on the weekend. I knew my sister was sending me a few of my Mom's things but there was also a pewter heart which had some of her ashes in!
Really wasn't expecting that and although I could see the funny side eventually I guess it must have disturbed me more that I thought. Mom died early last year but since the funeral was in Canada I couldn't get to it at the time. I guess this brings home the fact that she really is gone! Apparently there are 7 of these memorial hearts so each of us kids have one! Wonder which bit I got:rotfl::rotfl:(sorry if anybody gets offended by that but sometimes you have to laugh don't you)
Love

ps - will post menu in a minuteWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
I am having a bit of a left over day today as I sorted out the freezer last night and found a few bits to use up.:D
Breakfast - oats so simple with frozen blueberries and milk (heb.free, hea)
Lunch - SW recipe beef burger in a roll with 300g rustic oven chips ( I have some stewing steak defrosting that I am going to try putting in my blender/chopper thingie and see if I can make my own mince. We don't really like stew and if I make my own mince I know what is in it;)) (free + 6 syns for the roll & 3 syns for the chips)
Dinner - Quorn sausage casserole with mashed potato and sweetheart cabbage. Might have fruit and yogurt to follow. (all free)
See you later
Love

Good day yesterday, very frugal. Branflakes, HM carrot and lentil soup, bread, HM stew with sausages +bread as well as my fruit. Only 99p for the day leaving £11.06 for rest of week.
Did anyone see Hugh F-W last night going after Tesco's chickens? I thought it was interesting the way his low budget shopper changed her attitude at the end and was buying slightly more expensive chickens but less of them - it's certainly my experience that even cheap chicken eats into a tight budget.
Thinking of some sort of bean salad for lunch (with left over chick peas that I froze) and then some left over chicken (from last week, also frozen) and tarragon risotto for tea. Mmmm hungry already...
Newlywed - that is a really good idea. My youngest loves chicken fahitas anyway and it's quick to do. Thanks for that.Popsy0 -
Morning all.
Thought last week was too good to be true - 1lb back on
Anyway:
b: oats in water, honey, nana
l: HM leek and tatty soup (given up the rolls for this week)
d: Chicken breast wrapped in bacon with roast sweet potatoes
Snack: small ramekin with summer fruit crumble in - mostly fruit, tiny bit of crumble. Needed to use the frozen fruit up and this should stop the chocolate/biscuit craving in the afternoon (I hope). Plus it increases my 5 a day and tastes good  (had to test one last night). And I don't eat it with custard or cream or anything, just on it's own.
Hope to make some butternut squash soup tonight to vary the leek and tatty (although that is my fave), or maybe some minestrone soup :think:working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Mornin
Sorry I haven't been in for a while but I lost a good friend last Wednesday and thinks went a bit bottom up
Consequently my diet and exercise went out of the window and I can report a 1/2lb gain. Not too bad in the circumstances and I'm back into routine this week; although with the funeral next week things could be dodgy again.
Well done to all losers - catch you all later0 -
moneypooh - sorry to hear about your friend, food is usually the last thing on our minds at times like these.
Marion - hope you get a better nights sleep tonight, bit of a suprise getting the ashes in the parcel. How do you make your quorn sausage casserole?
commiserations to newlywed xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
I'm sorry to hear about your friend Moneypooh - you did very well to only put 1/2lb on. I hope you begin to feel better about the situation soon.
RetiredLady - I agree you must see the funny side. I'm sure your Mum would have wanted you too. It's certainly an unusual way to remember someone! I hope it was all the best bits you got!
Well my menu has just changed. I've just come out of a meeting where I ate 2 choccy biscs.... the worst bit was that my manager then said 'are you putting on weight?' That has to be the last straw! I need to push it now because I don't want people talking about me and my fat @ss!!
BTW he's a fantastic man and he is a great boss, I don't blame him at all. He was just making an observation many others have thought but not said!
So...
B - Yog and HM malt loaf
L - Soup from Mr S
D - 2 Quorn burgers, hoops, egg
S - 2 choccy bics
Milk
I'm going to go for a jog tonight then 30 mins on the Wii fit! I can do this, I know I can. What is nicer - a cake or another pound lost?? I can't let food rule me like this. Feel a bit blue so i'm off to town to look for some 'healthy' soup.
Cripes -sorry this is a really mopey post!!House saving Targets:
