blummin heck isparticus! thats some going. well done
1lb off for me this week. Completely unable to exercise after overdoing it last weekend, can barely walk and have had to resort to crutches. On top of that feeling horrid today, legs and arms very heavy and difficult to move, no appetite, headache and exhausted. It's either a flare up of my lupus/fibro or i'm coming down with a virus or something.Weight loss to date - 8st 13lbs :j0 -
Hello!
I've subscribed to this thread and I'd love to join if you'll have me!
I did WW 2 years ago and lost 2 stone. Sadly I am now 1 stone back on, 10lb of which I managed to put on over xmas! My goal is to lose just over a stone. I've got the Wii fit and I'm going to (try) and run 3 times a week as well. I'll be doing it as WW in my head but not going to the classes as I'm far too ashamed for that!
Here is today's plan. It's an odd one, sorry!
B - Yog
L - Soup, quavers
D - sml pot noodle testing (at a consumer research place). Veg & rice dish
S - beef jerky, milk, Apple.
I've guestimated the pot noodle as it'll only be a taste but that comes to 16 WW and I'm allowed 18.
I also plan to do 30 mins of Wii fit. I went for my first run yesterday which nearly killed me but I'm getting back into it so that's good!
According to the Wii I lost 1Ib last week so I've just got to keep it going!!:THouse saving Targets:

Good luck retiredlady, and hurray to the skinny minnies tap lady and shelbell
.
thanks for calling me a skinny minnie!:TI hope you dont all think I'm here under false pretences because I am at my target. I have lost almost 2 stone to get here and have spent the last year trying to stop here which I think is quite hard. I hope I can support you all to do the same and get to your goal.
Well done Shellbell:T and a big well done to isparticus:T :T I have never know anyone lose that much in a week although I have seen people lose half a stone on their first week of dieting. I'm not sure that this much in a week is entirely healthy - please make sure you are eating all the nutrients your body needs.
Retired-Lady - well done on STS:T they always say(at SW) to be careful the week after you've lost when you really shouldn't have as it takes a while for our body to catch up.
isparticus - forgot to say I hope your son is feeling better xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
hi all,
Well done to all losers - especially isparticus!!
Taplady, we don't think you're here under false pretences. You always egg us all onPlus - having left the thread after being 6 months at my goal weight.... and getting cocky and putting 10lbs back on in just 3 months - definitely don't feel like you shouldn't be here!!
Frogga - I saw that on the telly today. They said if your kids run about, get exercise, then there is less problem with their diet - the problem is the kids that sit in front of telly and computer and don't get their butts off the chair, and then never eat any fruit or veg.Chill a bit - you are completely right that we should be more worried what sort of persons they turn out to be. When they leave home they make their own food choices anyway. Much better if they have a healthy relationship with ALL foods and a varied diet (I think).
Anyway. Weighed today and am very pleased to report 3½ lb loss
Just goes to show exactly HOW many biscuits I usually eat - coz I've not eaten many since being ill on Tues. So that's 5lbs gone - just another 5lbs to get back to goal again.
Went for a walk to Dr's today - had a day off work. Then they rang back to say they should have offered a flu jab so I walked back down there - that's over 6 miles walking today! and over 13,000 steps:eek: Gonna pay for that tomorrow though
Keep going everyone - remember sometimes it takes an extra week for the weight loss to catch up to youworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Another one back on track here, 2lb off for me this morning yay!!:j Still got another 3lb to lose from the Christmas excesses plus the 2lb I put on after reaching my target. My aim now is to shift that 5lb by the end of Feb and a 50th party... very do-able in theory, might not be so easy in reality though...
But I am feeling inspired and on a bit of a roll after seeing the scales move in the right direction for the first time in ages, perked me up no end on a miserable Monday morning it did!:D
Well done to the losers, particularly ispartacus - fantastic!!:T
Hi spugzbunny, welcome and good luck!0 -

So, I'm allowing myself 17.50 this week for food. Taking off milk for drinks, coffee (can't live without coffee) and fruit I already bought - 7 bananas 6 apples and a daily dose of fruit juice - this leaves me £11.36 for everything else.
bkfst: toast cott cheese, juice 13p
lunch: tuna/red pepper sarnie (35p) apple
Tea: chicken casserole (95) +baked potato (26), yoghurt 25p
Snack: banana
Total for day £1.94 remainder for week £9.42Popsy0
