Well today is going ok foodwise - fear of the biscuits in my desk drawer making me sick works well to prevent me eating them! ;) Though I did eat a couple without thinking :o

Went to sainsbugs with very little money left till payday and bought everything I needed and was very good (even when in the biscuit aisle choosing biccies for the kids).

    Food today has been:

b: oats and a little syrup
l: HM butterbean soup (from the freezer - it was nicer than I remembered before :o)
d: salmon with roasted sweet pots and leeks

Snacks: two of previously mentioned biscuits with evil sesame contamination :wall:

I wonder if you can freeze cooked Twinks hobnobs and then I could just take one a day to work :think: Would I just take one a day to work??:think::think::think:

How many would actually make it to the freezer and once there would they be calling you?

    Hello Everyone

Thought I'd better post. I joined a couple of weeks ago but have been healthy eating for 17 days now (date and weight logged on WII Fit) I have lost 4lbs and need to loose another 3lbs to hit my first target a loss of 7lbs by the end of January. Its been hard going though but I have eaten very healthily no cakes, biscuits crisps or snacking between meals.

Good Luck to those with weigh-ins coming up.

Evening all. Been a bit quiet since admitting my self sabotage, as have been really concentrating on sticking to things properly.

B - small peice soda bread with low fat soft cheese
    L - tuna salad
S - slice lean corned beef
D - will be a low fat curry

So far so good, have stayed on track for the last 3 days :)

Bought some new nighties yesterday as my size 16 ones were tooooo big. Had to get 12-14 as Tesco don't do individual sizes  and wasn't getting 16-18! The good news is they fit  how mad is that? I was a 24-26 6 months ago!

  • Got a free lunch today as we have a working lunch Thursdays and the boss provides the sarnies and fruit. So a bit extravagant on the sausages for tea (from the farmers market, nice though)

    Bkfst: cottage cheese, toast (13p)
lunch: ham salad sandwich, grapes (0)
Tea: sausages, potato/sweet potato mash, beetroot stew (144)
Snacks: banana, juice (free sample) apple, crackers (28)

Total spend for day £1.85. remainder for week £6.34

Curry night tomorrow. Can't decide if to go veggie (cheaper) or not. Hmm.

Hi All, I'm new here, but would like to join in please!

I am aiming for a stone weight loss, I am trying to break my targets down into small chunks. So I am aiming for 2 pounds loss this week.

Breakfast: Ready Brek with semi skimmed milk and sweetner
    Lunch: Jacket potato and spaghetti
    Dinner: Salmon fingers and Vegetables
    Snack: 2 slices toast
And there was a galaxy ripple and a muller crunch corner
I havn't really started with a proper "plan" as such, so any pointers for cheap, healthy lunches that I can take to work would be greatly appreciated! I work in an office and we have a toaster and a microwave. I have been taking soups, baking potatoes and bread for toasting. I would like some kind of pasta or rice ideas, that are quick to prepare and filling.
    Thank you!!

    WELL DONE!! :T
I am aiming for about a 7pound loss in January...but having lost nothing YET! It's looking far away! The other day the Wii Fit told me "If you carry on at this rate, you will never reach your goal! Would you like to reset your goal!" I said YES obviously...I was never going to reach my target in the 32 days or so I had left!!! Silly thing! The things should be motivating me, cos it said that, but I really wanted to shout at it! Hahaha

Well done to all those who have lost. Welcome to all newbies.

So my dilemma now is ... twinks hobnobs... will they make it to the freezer? .... if so, will they stay there and only one go with me to work a day?... Or will more leap suicidally out of the freezer and coincidentally land in my work bag?? Hmm yeah.

Done well with no biccies at all since this morning. For me, that's an achievement!!! Especially as I had to dish some up to the kids :o
