Shall we just say that yesterday and today have been TOTAL healthy eating disasters. In true caterpillar mode, if it wasn't nailed down I ate it. So I now draw a big red line under the whole sorry tale and start again as of this minute. So there!!!

Only DH and I like what I'd got planned for tea today so there's not much point doing it for one, we can both have it tomorrow. He was muttering about a half used jar of curry he's got in the fridge  , so I'll have to come up with something to go with that, but DS won't touch it so heaven knows what I'll get him. Fussy bunch my men folk.
Hope you're all doing better than me, and if not feel free to use my big red line. Suz

I am doing well with the healthy eating i have allowed myself one celebration choc out the tin a day so that sorts the choccie cravings.
sticking to homemade soup for lunch with either toast with low fat spread or 2 krisprolls.
last night had a 2 egg omellette with prawns and onions and a side salad which was yummy.
tonight we have sausage, potatoes, onions and cabbage i will only have one sausage.
breakfast on a weekday is always porridge with water as cant force anything else down my throat dont do early brekkie. weekends is sometimes a fried egg sandwich fried in no oil or sometimes we have egg, tomatoes, toast and mushrooms.
excercise is the wii fit at the moment and doing body test daily weight goes up and down by 1-2pounds but fitness is improving, doing 15-25mins a day on wii fit then playing wii fit some days with husband for 30-90mins. i do ache though so must be doing something right.0 -
Procastinator:
Is your £50 budget just for food or for everything?
I think my boys would be happy to live on juice, toast and boursin for the week as long as they got their chicken tikka on Friday!
Hi Popsytops, yes that is my total spend. We are all veggies and don't eat takeaways except the occasional portion of chips but that's not out of my budget. I use beans, quorn, soya, eggs and dairy for protein. I like nuts and eat some each day but others not so keen. Budget before xmas was larger and I built up quick a store cupboard stock so the #50 reflects this.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

Weighed in at 13 stone 7 pounds today - a gain of 2 lbs last week and a whopping stone and a half over the last couple of months.
My poor friend weighed herself too and is gutted that she is 13 stone for the first time ever, so we must try to egg each other on a bit. Feel so sluggish this time of year though, no energy!
Well it's clear that I just haven't been trying really.I keep thinking of strategies and ways of avoiding unhealthy food instead of just trying to actually exercise some self control and experiment with saying "no" to something. Maybe the world won't actually end if i don't have that slice of chocolate cake eh?

Right, as promised last week I got weighed on the scales at work today (don't have any at home!). I weighed in at 73kg or 11st 7lb
I would like to be at least half and stone lighter and preferably closer to 10st 7lb.
I'm a bit stuck what to do as I refuse to eat diet stuff and prefer real old fashioned ingredients for cooking. Took the dog for a rare hour and a half walk today but I can't manage this everyday due to the winter light.
I'd love a wii fit but can't afford one at the moment.
Is it helpful to write down what you eat daily to see where you could make changes? For example if I am at work I 'll eat 3-5 pieces of fruit yet at the weekend I don't eat any. Just writing this down makes me think it could help:Dfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Daily eating plan Good morning everyone, thick thick fog here today - hope it clears away cause I have to take Charlie to the groomers this morning and that trip includes traversing the M25 plus some narrow country lanes! Please let the sun come out!
Here is my eating plan - EE again. I have stuck to my plans pretty good this week so far. I always eat everything on the plan, it is just the extras in the evenings that do me in!:D
Breakfast - egg, bacon & leftover mash fried with onion, 1 tblsp ev olive oil (free, free, heb)
Lunch - Homemade leek and potato soup (free) - may also have SW chilli in jacket potato if I get home in time to make it! (free)
Dinner - Chicken breast stuffed with garlic/quark mixture and wrapped in bacon and served with carrots, green beans and mashed potato. (free)
snacks will be friut!

I will have some nuts and raisons tonight as nibbles (10 syns). I have started drinking sugar free tonic water with ice and a slice in the evening. Tastes just the same as the version with vodka in it (almost;))
