Hello everyone - well done to all losers! I can report a 1.5lb gain this week - I am gutted. I did the Extra Easy plan and stuck to it but had, on consultant's recommendation, 25 syns a day. I think that that is too much on the EE plan and so am aiming for 10 syns this week to see if that helps. DD1 lost 10.5lbs and we had eaten almost the same things, except that she hadn't had as many syns as me.
I have also spent some time tonight planning what to have to eat this week and I also got an SOS food diary to fill in so hopefully that will ensure a loss next week.
I hope to post every day on here as I'm sure that it helps me to stay focused, but I have been having some work done in the house and so haven't been able to use the computer much.
Hope you are all well!Jane

Blimey RS you were up late  I too had a very late night last nite as I was stuck on the phone to a friend who goes on and on and you just can't get away, know what I mean?
Anyway, hope you are all sitting down cause have to say I am actually eating alright at the moment  I know shocking isn't it? It's now been 6 days so the WD tomorrow should be interesting. Have felt like I've eaten alot so have the usual anxious feelings of dread in case I've not lost or even gained but I hope not ( doh, obviously!)
Have been eating 3 meals, 3 snacks and lots of black tea.
I watched the super s;immers prog and felt a great deal of empathy with the people involved. I kept hearing myself thinking " oo I do that, I think like that, et.c" I know I have to concentrate really hard to stay focused or I fall off the wagon, and it can happen at ANY time, even when I dare to think I'm doing well. I think I get cocky ( Frogga? Cocky? surely not I hear you say) and then that's it, I fall off and then I'm on the floor.
SO taking it hour by hour atm. Will post in the morning to report what the scales say.

Hello all. Last night was kinda ruined by a rogue slice of cheesecake. Other than that I was right on track all day.
Bran Flakes
Fruit
Tuscan bean soup
Bacon pieces
Pasta bake
See you all tomorrow.0 -
Hi all,
Still a bit shaky at the moment, probably because its so cold in my office I am constantly on the hunt for nice warming things to cheer me up. I need to start going swimming again after my Christmas break but I am put off by how busy it will be with 'part timers' (the people who make a resolution in January then stop going by the first week in Feb).
B: Porridge with skimmed milk and water
L: Wholemeal roll with cheese spread and cucumberNot sure, might request scouse from OH as it will warm me up, proper comfort food without the guilt
I really need a few days to re-stock my freezer but just haven't had the time as we have been away most weekends and I have been getting home late from work. I don't have any soup for lunch left and I can't bear tinned soup, tastes like salty wallpaper paste because of all the thickeners.
Hopefully I can get on with it this weekend, got some Seville oranges to have a bash at marmalade for the first time0 -
Hi
On second cup of coffee, been drinking a lot of it lately, maybe 'cos it was so cold. Only drink hot water at work so not too much damage, no halucinations yet. Had grapefruit for bfast, will have cereal in a min and hope that fills me till I get home 2-3pm. Will take a banana for snack, have a cold jacket spud in fridge will micro it and have with cottage cheese for lunch. Dinner needs to include mash and swede, so maybe with green lentils.
Exercise not so good, walking below average so hope to get some more steps in today. Bought a new swim cozzy on Sunday so will be back in the pool this eve, looking forward to it. Have a good day everyone.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

Morning everyone. Had quite a good day yesterday, actually felt a few hunger pangs at playgroup and didn't have a biscuit or sugary tea to cope. Just felt hungry for half hour before going home to make lunch. I must remember that it is ok to feel a bit hungry sometimes!
Breakfast: muesli (1)
Lunch: whoopsie smoked salmon and salad (1)
Dinner: chickpea and veg korma with quinoa and rice (2)
snacks - carrot sticks, pepper slices and hummus

newlywed - I'm with you on the shortbread - its my alltime favourite biccie - especially the M & S ones:drool:
I don't go in M&S food hall anymore - spend far too much if I do - mostly on their fruit
But Co-op Fairtrade shortbreads with choc chips (big round biscuits) are really good
Well done on the loss
Must stop thinking about biccies nowworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Oh RS I really feel for you, I would have been gutted also. I agree with you 100% that 25 syns are way too many. I know it is going to be extra hard for you this week but do try really really hard to stick to the EE with only 10 syns and I'll bet you will have a great loss next week. Be stong!:A

ps - well done to you daughter - although it probably made you feel even worse:rotfl:When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Mornin'
Well I can't believe it, I've done 6 mornings in a row at the gym  . I go after dropping the children at school and it's working out really well. I do 200 cals on whatever equipment I fancy. This morning I watched the Will Smith interview on BBC while cycling away as I watched it pour down outside.
I don't go at the weekends but try to fit another 30min exercise thing on one day and one complete day off
I have been eating OK but next week I really want to have a mini detox week and cut out all the naughty things (crisps, biscuits etc...).
Well done to losers and STSs, if you've gained don't look down, it's just a glich. I put on 5lbs over the holiday period and I've now lost it all - it can be done, just start again
OH is being really supportive this time and so are the children, especially my 14yr old DD. She's being great and that helps so much. (she's a beautiful 5'6", slender size 10). She's going to be my gym buddy next week
