Morning all,
Fed up with work as things keep 'mysteriously breaking' and its putting the kybosh on my work which drives me nuts. Yesterday turned into a bit of a disaster as I had 2 rolls for dinner instead of one and then ate a quarter of OH's white choc orange when I got home. At least it stopped there but its only because there was nothing else in the house!
B: Porridge with water, skimmed milk and honey
L: Small tin of beans on 1 slice wholemeal toastVeggie burgers with SW chips
S: Probably nothing much other than a banana, satsuma and pear
Hope the black cloud lifts today0 -

Morning all.
Feeling a bittoday. Was ill last night so didn't eat any tea and it was kind of a waste eating my lunch too. Anyway nuff said - at least I should be lighter today
Got a headache and sat at work wondering whether I should be in bed instead. It's not a stomach bug though, it's just summat that seems to happen if I eat sesame (which I haven't) or if I eat too much fruit sometimes (possibly the cherries I ate with lot of water drunk at the same time).
Food today:
b: small portion of oats in water with syrup. no nana. Couple of biscuits at work.
l: hm leek and potato soup with a roll (if I want it)
d: no idea. Was meant to be chilli but that's what I had for lunch yesterday so can't face it today. Think there's salmon in the freezer so maybe that.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
newlywed - hope you soon feel better xDo what you love :happyhear0

Went and joined SW this morning, not as daunting as I thought it would be in fact it was better everyone was really friendly.. I won the raffle:j of a large slice of gammon 2 potatoes a punnet of small plum tomatoes and a tin of pineapple rings in juice. So nice tea for me and OH.
After looking at all the books I think I will stick to extra easy for a bit until I get used to things. It took 2 black coffees and 2 headache tablets for me to find out if the porridge I had for breakfast was free or syns I settled for Healthy Extra b. So todays menu looks like this
B Porridge and banana
L Tuna salad and cous cous
D Gammon potatoes broccoli carrots and peas. Pineapple rings:D
snacks yogurt and orange0 -
newlywed - hope you soon feel better x
Thanks. Have just discovered go ahead biccies are "produced on a line handling nuts, sesame seeds, egg. Usually ok with traces of sesame - but guess the volume of those biccies I've been eating the last two weeks has built up
Just goes to show that "diet" foods aren't good for youNever had that problem with butter shortbreads

you were right:T it is indeed a healthyB choice.
Congratulations on winning the raffle:T you'll soon get the hang of it, it took me a few days to work out the red and green days myself!
newlywed - I'm with you on the shortbread - its my alltime favourite biccie - especially the M & S ones:drool:Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Fedupandskint - you don't need diet food to diet. just cut down on what you normally eat - easy if you like cooking anyway.
And I think it is really helpful to write down what you eat - you sometimes see things you missed and even just seeing in black and white a long list of what goes in your mouth each day can be very motivating.Popsy0 -
Messed up yesterday's planned plan (?) including an emergency bag of maltesers (50p) so my adjusted balance at end of yesterday is £10.16.
Brfst: branflakes, juice (13p)
lunch: tuna sandwich, salad leaves (from garden) pepper, apple (44.4p)
Tea: quorn chilli and rice, cheese (98.3p)
snacks: grapes, banana (27)
glass wine (free - still using up the Xmas stock)
remainder for week = £8.19. Still, get a free lunch tomorrow :-)Popsy0 -
