Floyd - Be sure to try Boulette (a sort of squashed meatball), Currywurst (sausage in curry sauce) and a Hänchen Kebap (chicken kebab)
If you're near Mehringdamm U-bahn station go to Mustafa's Hänchen-Gemüse Kebap (it's just a little hut in the middle of the street but the kebab's are amazing!) and just down the street there's a place called Curry 36 that boasts that they have the best Currywurst in Berlin. I can't confirm that but can say they're very good!
Not very good when you're watching what you eat but very tasty!
Have a great time in Berlin, I wish I was going!0 -
Hi to all,
B: cereal - 350 cals, I looked at the recommended 30g serving and decided it wasn't enough!
S: yogurt - 161 cals
L: ham salad sandwich, no dressing, crisps and lilt zero - 450 cals
S: Banana - 150 cals (it is large)I have a prepacked battered fish with chips, will add peas - will look up cals but hope to stay under 2000 recommended limit.
Floyd hope you have a great time, well done to all the loosers and lots of will power to everyone.0 -
Just an update about lunch....
I didn't know what to have for lunch & I needed to decide fast as DH was due home for his lunchbreak. There was some cold chicken & cocktail sausages wrapped in bacon in the fridge leftover from the roast yesterday; I diced it all up and made sandwiches with it on 50/50 bread spread with light chilli mayo.
Not very low fat I know, but very tasty0 -
Went for a walk at lunch, only 2 miles but still. Done my 6,000 steps today already...
but had a small packet of giant chocolate buttonsworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Hi
It's me, back again. More another day. Just wondering if anyone uses any online food/diet help. I have used weightlossresources.co.uk, but fancied a change. Recommendations gratefully received."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

grateful - bad luck! dont worry you can stop - we like you:D;)
Frogga - I dont drink either, would rather use my calories for food:)
good luck for the weigh in on the 1st!
I would rather eat than drink any day. I never drink juices or pop either, as they're empty cals in my book.
How many calories are there in blood? I've just put the sewing machine needle thru my finger. It's the first time I've ever done that!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

morning!
frogga - hope the new month is going well:hello:
did well yesterday until the evening. I had been to the docs for a replacement mirena and it was bl**dy painful so I decided I deserved chocolate. The only thing in the house was choccie fingers so I demolished 3/4 of a box full, could have eaten the lot but managed to stop and leave a few for my DH:D
weigh in tomorrow so must do better today. Got an 11 hour shift and am taking some soup for lunch. Will eat tea there , not sure whats on the menu but I left some veggie burgers in the freezer there so might have them or a jacket spud.
Breakfast has been spaghetti on toast today.
have a good day all xDo what you love :happyhear0
