I'm also 5ft 3in and I weighed myself this morning. 15 stone 1.5 lbs.
I am going to see if I can concentrate on how many non binge days I can get through. Once I've tackled that issue I can then look at exercise, meal quantities etc.
I have a problem with my leg which prevents exercise at the moment, so it should work well.
I have just taken on an allotment, so myself, OH and 2 DD's (6 years old) will be going over this afternoon to do some work. Not sure how much will be achieved by DD's. :rotfl:
Meals today are all healthy (as usual). I am so determined this evening will be the first non binge night for a long time...Fingers crossed.

Great approach Donna, if we can avoid the binge days we'll be making a positive step towards better health and the weight loss should follow as an added bonus.
We have 8 days to go until Feb, shall we both try for binge free until then?
The allotment project sounds great fun - are the whole team keen?
Frogga and Taplady you are both internet gems - I shall be voting for you as Prime Minister and Deputy when the general election comes.0 -

Hello all,
Your posts are such a tonic to read this evening as I'm feeling like Cinderella, all alone at home with the washing up while DH is out at a colleagues 50th birthday party. The munchie switch has been twitching but Alan Carr on the radio kept me amused thank heavens. He's got Gok Wan coming for supper and was wondering what to wear. However as his puppy Bev isn't potty trained, he thought waders could be a good idea :rotfl:. Oh I remember it well.
A very odd day spent looking at used cars as we need a replacement for DH's money pit. Managed to stick to plan these past two days. Weigh in is monthly for me too so am counting the days and hoping not to blow it before then. Sorry about your oops! Grateful onwards and downwards from now on.
I've also bought some Basa fish, mine's in a pepper breadcrumb coating. Nice to try new things, looking forward to it, thanks ladies.
Right, Cinders is now off to cuddle a dog on the sofa and knit a cot blanket. Me thinks an apple will also get munched too.
Night night!"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are." Unknown0 -
The New Year's resolutions have driven me back on here. Most of the weight I got off last year has gone back on, so here we go again.
Tonight has featured half a bottle of wine, as did last night and so will tomorrow. Not the rest of the week, though. I decided long ago that wine was my vice. I hardly eat sweets or crisps and don't often have a dessert, so I've factored in the calories in wine instead!:D
If there were things I like in the house I'd eat them, so I had to make sure that I'd finished the chocolate biscuits before I'd started this and I haven't bought any more. I find it's much easier to resist this stuff at the supermarket than at home - and I try always to go shopping when I've just eaten!
Weighed in this morning and have lost a couple of pounds since last week. There are a good few more to go, though. If we are supposed to be thin, why does chocolate exist?0 -

Well done on the weightloss Agapanthus :T
I would love to stop buying all the things I crave, but I think there would be a protest by the others in my house
I love my vino too, I only have a drink at the weekend though as it causes the crisp monster in me to surface.......love crisps0 -

thankyou whiteviolet :T Frogga shall of course be Prime Minister;) and I shall be deputy.:D
Agapanthus - welcome back and well done on losing this week.:T I think you're right not to have the stuff in the house but the 2 males in my house would soon grumble if there was no carp in the house as Kraftycat says.
suzid - I had the Basa in a peppered batter too, yummy with lots of lemon on it.
this evening I have had a treat and had a packet of maltesers which I savoured:D I figured it is the weekend, I'm working all of it so I deserve a treat! at least its only a normal sized bag - not a family bag or family bar of choc which I would have had in the past!Do what you love :happyhear0
