Well done Keiss and Tappy and anyone else I might have missed :)

Well my hungry week did bad things, it started with me eating more fruit than usual to try and fill up between meals and ended with me just eating rubbish. Funny how one day can impact so much but anyway, I put on 1 lb. Not horrendous but still annoying ;)

    B/L: Bacon on wholemeal toast

D: Not sure exactly what is going to be at my friends 'do' tonight, could just be canapes which will probably mean I will be starving when i leave and will eat something highly inappropriate :(

Never mind, I will worry about that tomorrow as theres no point having a rubbish night just because I can't eat anything
  • Well done, keiss and taplady and bad luck, floyd.

I have taken a week to lose the weight gained the week before, so back to square one!
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Floyd - try and eat something healthy before you go to the 'do' tonight so you wont be tempted to eat any carp there and be miserable all night or if that fails just eat what you like and enjoy it:D

grateful - good luck for next week x

my plan for today subject to alterations:D

    B - 1 slice toast(400g wholemeal loaf)marmalade and 28g puffed wheat

L - jacket spud with cheese and salad

D - salmon, new spuds and veggies

plus the usual fruit and yoghurt.

hope you all have a good weekend x

Thanks for your congrats everyone, I am really pleased to have got rid off those pounds. Now to get a good loss for this next week. Didn't do much exercise yesterday as was at the physio in the morning, which left me shattered.

Plan on getting some exercises done before lunch, might even walk the dog this afternoon, or do some tidying up in the garden now the snow has gone. Feeling a bit sniffly today, hope I am not coming down with DS2 & DH's cold...not a nice one!

    So food for today:

B: Porridge with raisins, water & soya milk & OJ
S: Satsuma - keeping up the Vit C!
D: HM veg soup - must defrost it!; banana
S: HM Muesli slice or satsuma
T: HM burgers in whoopsied sesame rolls (Mr T yesterday), veg
    S: Fruit and/or muelsi slice

    Have a good weekend everyone

Been gone so long have no idea when I last posted. Still it's lovely to see names I recognise. As far as I'm concerned 2009 was a dieting disaster best forgotten. I've put on 3 stone and can't seem to find the off switch to stop the munchies. Lots happened to turn me to comfort eating including: My beautiful Jenny Fur had to be put to sleep on 4th July, she was a diabetic elderly German Shepherd who we loved dearly . Our 11yr old German Shepherd had two lumps removed over the year, one low grade cancer. Our local council proposed putting livestock on our local nature reserve which caused a great deal of stress and anger, leading to a few of us forming a users association, and thankfully getting them to change their minds. I never thought I'd be calling our MP, AM's and Councillors by their first names . My DD got married :T. And DH stressed out at work with a big pay cut due to no overtime but having to still put in the work unpaid .
With all that lot going on, the veggies were left to their own devises and were pathetic, so I've decided to replace the plot with a large pond. Frogga should be pleased! All that digging should also help the weight loss, if only I can stop eating for Britain. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Today's menue will be;
    Breakfast - porridge with prunes
Lunch will be - HM Carrot and lentel soup with a small bap (no butter)
    Snack - yogurt
Tea - Chicken stir fry with noodles
I'm visualising a large mains type switch which I turn off. Here's hoping if I do it enough it might work. Stop eating you daft date or you'll not have anything to wear having recycled all the old clothes when you lost weight. Think money saving, all those lovely small sizes sitting in the wardrobe. Groan :o.

Sorry to here about your bad year in 2009 suzid, what a time you have had!! :grouphug: to you.

I too want to draw a line under 2009 (there, I've done it!). In my case I lost 3 stone due to ill health (then put a stone back on, but back on the straight and narrow again!!).

Here's hoping 2010 will be much improved and that you achieve at least some of your goals. I wont say all, as going for too many goals at once invariably means failure in most or all of them - at least where I am concerned! :D

So moderation is my word for 2010!!

So here's to a healthier and happier year ahead, for all of us!

Mind if I slope back too? ;)

Spent most of 2009 putting on and taking off the same stone and have a feeling that I've put more on over xmas (shock).

So really want to give this a push now as I'm fed up and embarrassed about my weight. I'm finding exercise difficult as the flat is so cold I can't get motivated and going out for walks has been impossible in the weather lately. Just been cuddling up under duvet with DD watching telly. :o

Obviously the cold has really contributed to munchies too! Just braved the wii to see my weight and saw I have lost 4lb!!! since last week. I was so delighted I failed to register what my weight actually is, but think it's around 13st 5lb.

    Food today:

    Breakfast - banana (80 cals)

midmorning - 1 slice wholemeal toast and peanut butter (300) and hot choc (200)

Lunch - tuna/sweetcorn mayo and coleslaw salad with tomatoes (600 - full fat mayo!)

teatime - banana, cup of peas with a little bisto chees sauce lol (150)

Dinner - portion of cod in parsley sauce (100), boiled potato, carrots and peas (250)

Just under 1600 cals which isn't too disastrous, but you see what i mean about the constant nibbling! Great to see taplady and other friendly faces here - I shall have a good read of the thread now to see what miracle weightloss recipes have been found. :D

Hi JoJoB! well done on the 4lbs loss!:T if you're feeling cold in the flat why not put some music on with your DD and have a boogie - great for warming you up and fun too plus its good exercise. I find the less I do the colder I feel.

Oh, did I forget to mention my inherent laziness? :D

But you're right - I forced myself to move about this afternoon and got lots of tidying up done, which helped warm up. The wii fit is useful in this weather too, when I'm motivated enough to use it.

I just need to give myself a kick up the (rather large) botty!
