Morning everyone! Can't believe I've only been back at work for a week, feels more like a month! Anyway the 'diet' is going ok so far, not great though. I allowed myself a few too many treats over the weekend (bag of pick + mix sweets, my ultimate weakness!) and a small chocolate bar yesterday too, but I ate them full well knowing that they are treats and that they won't become a weekly habit. I also ran 8K on saturday so some compensation I suppose. Back to it today...
B: Porridge (made with water) and small handful raisins
L: Cold pasta salad with (pasta, prawns, peas, lemon juice and black pepper), muller light yog, pearHM vege pizza with salad (friend coming over so trying to be as good as poss whilst still catering for someone who isn't as food obsessed as me!)
Snacks: Handful grapes
Exercise: None other than the usual 20/30min walk on my lunchbreak
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Hello everyone, I'd like to join you all if you don't mind. Not sure what I should say on here but I've been reading a few posts and you all seem lovely and friendly and supportive, which is what I could do with! Here's hoping that belonging to this thread will give me the extra motivation I need. Good Luck to everyone, including me!

Hey Everyone, loving this thread. Ive had a great 1st week of dieting - lost 6 lbs in one week :T Although I know this will be a lot of water and the loss probably wont be as much next week. Not had much to eat today at all but thats all down to being very busy at work.
Ive been spending lots of time counting calories and weighing out food - Boring I know but so far it seems to be working as long as I write down everything I eat.
Hopefully I can continue this weight loss0 -

Ok so snack was two slices of toast
Lunch was a two egg omelette with a tiny sprinkle of low fat cheese, half a chopped red pepper and some sweetcorn (with a few small left over roasted parsnips).
But I have done a whole hour on the wii fit.
Just off to fish out a notebook to use as a food diary and been checking the calories on the drinks... guess all the apple juice and cordial added to the water hasn't helped the weightMust drink more (boring) water.
