    afternoon!

got SW tonight weather permitting so shall see the end result of the christmas excesses:eek: half on last week but I have tried much harder this week(or at least the last half of it)

I also believe in not denying yourself anything, the hard part is stopping at a little and not scoffing the whole cake/packet of biscuits.

    Frogga - keep going!:T

    will report in later x

Having said that I do try and only have choccy at the weekend and as I've gone without carp for 3 days now I have a splitting headache. It just shows me what I'm putting into my body to get withdrawal symptoms like that :o

Anyway, day 3 nearly over so must keep going.....

I know exactly how you're feeling Frogga! I've been off the bad stuff for 3 days now as well and I'm amazed at how my body is reacting with the withdrawl symptoms and cravings. I think we're at the hardest part now and hopefully over the next few days we'll forget all that rubbish and just enjoy being healthy! Hopefully!!!!
  • Doing ok, I think. No school tomorrow.

Well, pretty much stuck to my plan today. Did have a tiny bit of chocolate after dinner but that's nothing to the amount of rubbish I had been eating before!

    Tomorrows plan:
B: Toast, low fat flora, marmalade
    L: Tuna mayo sandwich, yoghurt
D: Fishermans pie, asparagus, green beans
    Snacks: Banana, pineapple smoothie

    Goodnight!

    L: HM veg soup

D: Pasta, pesto and peas with a big salad

I'm doing as well as I can with all the left over xmas choc's and cheese still tempting me!

B: 1 piece of toast with hummus
    S: Banana
L: Soup and 1 piece of bread, satsuma
    S: yogurt
D: pork chop, pots & peas got some turkey gravy left over so will use that instead of apple sauce. Dessert will probably be left over chocs :o

Tomorrow looks the same for B & L but dinner is morrocan chicken with cous cous - which is very yummy.
  • kraftykat - yes I think I would have chosen the wine over the oil too! :D

miss_cupcake - I was really shocked that 2 quality streets = 100 cals. It's tradition in my office that everyone brings in sweets on the run up to xmas so I munched my way though many a quality street! No wonder I've put on weight this last month!
  • Was sent home from work early yesterday and found it really hard to stop myself wandering into the kitchen mid-afternoon and trying to find things to nibble on! It made me appreciate that I don't work from home otherwise I think I'd snack a lot more

Back in the office today (thank goodness!) so today's plan is:

B: Scrambled egg with 1 slice seeded toast
L: Light cream cheese sarnie with seeded bread, pot of yog, banana
    Snack: Apple
D: Stuffed pepper with spicy cous cous
Snack: Handful raisins + dried apricots

Exercise: Will attempt to get to the gym after work for a 5K run
