Step away from the cookies Tappy ;)

I had one planned treat with a cup of tea at 3pm in work, chose the least horrendously calorific biscuit in the tin (Fox's crunch cream as opposed to all the chocolate covered sandwich biscuits) and just had fresh pineapple and melon which was delicious :)

Edited to add that I didn't have the crusty roll with my scouse so I dont feel bad for having a biscuit!

That sounds so good after all the chocolate and other rubbish I've been shovelling into my gob for the last month!! I'm actually sick of eating, anyone else feel like that?!

    morning!

slowlyfading - glad you decided to join us again:j

I'm off to work later for a long 11 hour shift with 2 meals at work. We get free food but its not always what I'd choose to eat - a meat based menu(dont eat meat - only fish) and lots of puds and christmas stuff still knocking around:rolleyes: so I'm taking my own - quite often some of the others look on mine with envy:D

B - scrambled eggs on toast

L - HM leek and potato soup with a couple of ryvita cracker breads and cheese

D - quorn bolognaise with WM pasta and a side salad

I will try and eat lots of fruit as snacks to avoid the choccie tin and probably a yoghurt for pud tonight.

hope to pop back tonight to see how you're all doing x

I'd never thought of ryvita as an alternative to bread to go with soup Taplady, will do that in future!

Um...stuck to the plan today except for the chocolate and mini-cheddars.

Me too, I was so good and then the Rosies got me, I had 6 which is just piggish but then to top it all I had 3 glasses of wine and a load of cheese and crackers at 11pm when my fella got the nibbles. I'm going to have to go to bed earlier!!

    Must try harder today.
  • Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who manages to be good all day and then seriously slips up in the evening! Yesterday went to plan... except for that medium (ok, large!) slice of Christmas cake that accompanied my evening cup of tea at 9pm. I wasn't particularly hungry, I just ate it because it was there and although it was delicious, I instantly regretted it as soon as I had finished. This is not the way forward, must try harder!

    Today's plan..

B: Porridge with half a banana and handful raisins
L: Wholemeal pita with light cream cheese and cherry toms, small pot of low fat yog, apple
    5pm snack: Banana
D: Mushroom risotto (sound indulgent but no butter, cream or cheese involved)

    Exercise: 5K run after work

Goal for the day: NO chocolates and NO christmas cake! Will report on my success tomorrow!
