It absolutely could be worse Keiss, I also suspect some (but not all) is due to TOTM so I don't feel too bad about it really

Not sure if I can claim TOTM, though everything has been hay-wire since I got a replacement coil (Mirena) in late November. I have had 3 TOTMs since then and have little clue when the next one is due! With luck it will all settle down in a few months and I will have no TOTM for the next 5 years (bliss!!).

All the family has gone to Sheffield today, returning tomorrow, so I am on my ownsome. Changing tonight's tea, and having left-overs from the freezer - chicken curry and rice...mmmmm! :D

Was going to be visiting my former neighbour today in her nursing home, but been charging up and down stairs all afternoon trying to stop the cistern overflowing!! The path outside the back door is now very wet, and starting to freeze over. Looks like I have sorted it, but will check again after walking the dog. I daren't be out for over a couple of hours, so visiting my friend tomorrow. Why do these things happen when I am on my own!!

Must remember to spread salt over the path at the back once I know I have definitely sorted the problem. Sure as fate I will come a cropper when gettting the washing /firewood in!!

Hope everyone is managing to keep warm and cosy this weekend.

Sorry, didn't see your post frogga, Happy New Year!

Glad to see you are coming back onboard again. Everyone tends to over-indulge at this time of year, so don't be too hard on yourself.

vivw - Welcome to this thread. I still have another 8 stone to lose, despite losing 3 stone last year (then putting 1/2 stone back on again!). Losing 4 or 5 stone this year would be fantastic! :j

So this year, 2010, is the year that I will get fitter and leaner, or at least do my best. ;)

I had a c**p year last year health-wise, so losing more weight can only do my health the world of good. :D

Right off to walk the dog and get some fresh freezing air!

    Hello all!
You may remember me - I was around for a while before my wedding in October and actually did ok weighwise.
Since then the pressure was off, the food's been eaten and the late honeymoon (Mexico in December), Xmas and New Year all coupled with retraining as a teacher has added up to at least a half stone gain.:o:o

So, starting tomorrow (when I go to Tesco) its back on board the weight loss express! I hope you don't mind me joining you again?

I am very well versed in SW and WW but am a veggie that will occasionally eat tuna/white fish. I have a dog and walk him three times a day adding up to about 1 hr 15 mins and have started swimming again since Dec 28th (been twice so far).

I am on a fairly tight budget as a trainee teacher so can't really afford SW weigh ins and branded products so its going to be all about homemade stuff and sensible eating and exercise. I want to lose 7 -10 lbs (doesn't sound like a lot but its flipping hard work!) but to do it sensibly so it stays off.

I'm eating up what I fancy today and then its back to it tomorrow.

Thanks for listening if you got this far!
    See you tomorrow

    Hello

Am sneaking back - have been maintaining with ww for the past 3 years (will be 4 years march) - have been stuffing my face over christmas and not moving (felt crappy and had bit of a cold type thing, so decided to suffocate it with food )

Need to lose about 5 - 7lb (being realistic here) will show my face at ww on Monday for the full damage and try for 1/2 - 1lb a week and try and get my bottom in gear and do some exercise . I have Gaynor Faye's Fit friends and the strictly workout with Flavia & Kelly from the £1 shop :money:- so need to do them as oppose them to assessing them!:o

Good luck for everyone in the New Year
