Hello!
I shall be joining you properly on sunday-need to eat the things I have planned until then.
Been watching 'you are what you eat' this evening and my dd (nearly 5) has decided that I need to go on the programme!!! Not going to be that drastic but I am 5 stone (at least) overweight and really need to get down to doing something about it.
I have lost good amounts of weight (not quite this much!) before and know that I can do it. I think I'm going to count calories as I have freezers full of stuff to be eaten up and can guesstimate the values of most of them fairly well.
I think dd will be watching me like a hawk and is suggesting we go running together-mmmm I don't think we'll be doing that just yet!!
Anyhow happy new year!!! See you in a few days.July grocery- 24.40/220. NSD-1/3.

Weird Wednesday
Made sure I had bfast - cornflakes and coffee. 2 biscuits from work tin. 2 clemintines.
Wholemeal roll and small pack crisps. Went to friends and would be impolite to refuse her home baking so had 2 mincepies and 2 shortbread bics. Dinner - pizza express, had half a pizza and side salad. One glass wine, shared olives and roast tom for start. No pud. Back to her house had satsuma and grapes whilst all around me others had choc and icream and panetone. I was good, so why did my stomach ache, felt like my ribs had been kicked from the inside.
Thoughtful Thursday
Today have cystitus. (sp) I'm in agony. Will exercise make it better or worse? Don't feel like moving but is that making it worse? Oh heavens. Have eaten half pack of value shortbread and 10 chocolate liqueurs. Pasta lunch being cooked by DD. Diner undecided depends who is in tonight.

Hi everyone :hello: I think I will be joining you all in the New Year if there is room for me!
I work from home so the temptation to snack on the wrong things is always there. Since giving up smoking in July '08 the weight seems to have piled back on. I have done 'diets' in the past and calorie counting etc but I think the trouble with me and Mr Coffeeholic is we eat the wrong things, our diet is so studenty at times
I am desperate to lose weight for our hols in September which seems a long way off but I am sure it will creep up.
Wishing you all a happy new year, hope to chat to you all soon x x xAll the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person...

HI to everyone on this thread and a very happy new year to you.
I would like to join this thread. I have been unhappy with my weight for too long, and done nothing about it except moan. I want to lose a stone and 2010 is going to be the year I do it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!I am making tomorrow my next WI, so here's hoping I haven't put on too much the past week! Think I will get DH to measure me too, so I can't hide from the fact that I am really still morbidly obese, despite losing 3 stone (and put a bit of it back on again!) the past year.
So I am looking forward to becoming healthier and fitter. I got a pedometer and book on walking to lose weight for Christmas, so here's hoping I can shift some more of the 7 or so stone I need to lose!
Still not planned all the meals for the coming month, but have the weekend covered and plan on getting the rest done in the next day or two.
HERE'S TO A HEALTHY AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
