Steph, get yourself an emery board, a hoof stick and some nail polish and remover. Then you can give yourself a manicure while you sit, you def can't eat while you're doing it, and if you eat afterwards for half an hour you will smudge it.Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

Hi all,
Not feeling so optimistic today as I know I am going to be in work really late
B: 2 wholemeal toast with bramble jelly
L: Flapjack because I havent had time to heat up my lunchNo idea when I will get home to eat it but its chilli and rice but could end up being beans on toast if I am in work really late.
S: Small skinny latte
Hopefully I can stay away from the vending machine if it gets late, I just get bored!0 -
Hi all,
I've not done well!!
I decided after last weigh in (26th of month) to aim for staying the stay weight.
But having just had a big birthday and been eating cake for over a week now, plus lots and lots of wine and bubbles I've put on 4lbs  how is that possible??!! you can't lose it that quickly
Walked the legs off the dog on Sunday in the vain hope of losing 1 lb and have eaten this week:
B: 1 piece of bread and jam
L: can of soup with bread
D Mon: chilli con carne with rice
D Tue: s/b saugages and mash low fat spread and gravy.
Think above s/b 1500 cals per day. NO booze, NO cake, (well I'm trying anyway) in vain hope of losing another 1lb.
So please wish me luck for weigh in on Thursday.0 -
Raspberry - hope the weigh in went better than you expected!
mlz1413 - good luck for Thursdays weigh in!
Floyd - hope you dont have to work too late!
food today
B - 2 weetabix, banana 1 slice WW toast
S - small apple
L - mackerel in tomato sauce on toast with a bit of salad
S - satsuma
D - stew(minus the meat) with mash and 2 very small dumplings(veggie ones) - I love dumplings:D followed later on by frozen tropical fruit with 2 mini meringues and fat free yoghurt.
my weigh in is tomorrow.
take care all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
oh dear purpleivy
hope they tasted nice:D just put it behind you and start again!
Yesterday didn't end up being too bad at all, but today has been a 'bit rough' foodwise. Came out of the meeting at work, picked some mushrooms and BF ham from Aldi and a chocolate bar fell on the conveyor.
Porridge for breakfast and some pineapple. Lunch was 2 thin slices of solid hm bread, one with a cheese slice and one with jam. Also had a Muller corner. Can't remember if there was anything else.
Dinner was one med egg, 50g Black forest ham, some mushrooms. Had a coffee down at borders, but made it a coffee with hot milk on the side, rather than the full on latte.
As I said, chocolate bar.
Let's see what tomorrow brings. My MIL said she was going to the Garden Centre tomorrow and would I like to go with her. I have one lesson first thing, so will go after that. She will probably take me out for coffee, she usually does.
Got pasta bake out of the freezer for ds and I tomorrow. Will half my portion and have some veg. DS can take the other half to school on Wed. They're quite good sized portions.
Thanks for your support."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Hi all,
I did joing this thread a while ago, and did OK, ending up at about 10st 10 (with a target weight of 9st 7:o) however, got a bit bored of dieting and exercise (no motivation to go to gym, but food intake remained same) has lead to being back up to 11st 5:mad:
Am really unhappy about this, and feel horrible (had been able to fit into size 12 jeans again, and now back up to 14) so am determined to sort self out again. I joined tesco diets yesterday, and it told me I need to eat 1200 calories a day (which seems so little!) but am actually really disappointed with the site-it gives you "family friendly meals" to cook, but with recipes portioned to 1-how stupid is that, surely best to give a whole recipe and then tell you how much you can have, so really think I may have wasted my money thereI don't have a family, but I have an OH who needs to lose a lot of weight too, but won't "diet" I try to reduce portion sizes and then he complains! So will just concentrate on me for now, and if he wants to stay unhealthy then thats his decision-but I am going to reduce the amount of cheese and cream we use in cooking (will still have treats-there is no point depriving ourselves:p but not a real cake/chocolate person) i think our biggest problem is wine
SO many calories and it doesn't even fill you up :rotfl:
So anyways-small steps to begin with...
Todays meals:
breakfast-berries, fruit and nut muesli and low fat vanilla yoghurt
lunch-tuna sweetcorn and brown/wild/red rice salad (can't decide on a dressing, thinking parsley and lemon juice)
Dinner-leftover roast beef stew with extra haricot beans, and roasted spaghetti squash (am trying to reduce carb intake slightly-but will no way be able to give up potatoes!)
Snacks-fruit or crispbreads with peanut butter or hummous (its my day off and need to go shopping to stock up on healthy snacks, and fruit-we are all out at the moment!
Weigh in day will be tuesdays, really want to lose 2 stone :eek:0
