    Well DOne Raspberry.

I've decided I want something hot for lunch so going to use some leftovers up. Have found the last of some cooked cabbage and a small helping of mash in the freezer. Those will be bubble and squeek with tiniest amt oil and lots of seasoning. Have the last of mum's tomatoes, so going to cook those in a frying pan with an onion. plonk it on Bubble and squeak and have a disc of soft goats cheese on it. SOunds like comfort food to me, OK for food plan and also clearing some stuff from the fridge. looking quite tidy.

I'm trying to keep the top drawer in the little freezer upstairs for packed lunch and leftover stuff. DS has sandwiches or whatever is left over, plus I have lunch at home most days. if it's all there together don't need to hunt stuff down.

I'm wondering if I can do a rice pud in the combi microwave...would cook faster plus get a brown skin. What do you reckon? Has anyone done this?

    hi guys

do you mind if i join this thread? im desperate to lose some weight (SW and MSE style) done really well on SW once upon a time but couldnt afford to keep up the payments on classes (which was a shame cos i loved it!)

but hopefully this thread will keep my fingers occupied and out of the biscuit tin!

I havent been SW class for about 6 months but going to try and stick to the plan Ex.Easy style so here goes:

    B: 2 x w/meal bread (400g loaf) toasted with 4tsp marmalade (HE.B & 2 syns)

L: wholmeal pasta, chopped tomatoes, seasoning (FREE!)

    D: SW Spaghetti carbonara (FREE & HE.A)

S: banana, pear, orange, 2 x shape yogurts

Going to be realistic and aim for 7lb before xmas (so seeing as there is 6 weeks till xmas i should be able to do this at 1lb a week at least!)

so here's to giving it a go  (vodka & diet coke, of course (2.5syns lol)

  • kipkip - good luck with following your SW plan at home :) I go to WW meetings as I've tried to follow the plan myself at home and always lose motivation after about a month! I know paying £17.99 a month for WW isn't very OS, but it works for me.

It's my sisters birthdays today so I shall be eating cake tonight!! Have cut down on points today to allow for it so should be ok :)
