    Hi all,
Yesterday was a bit of a wipeout as I was slightly hungover from Friday night after work, 6 bottles of Becks are enough to destroy me these days :( So as a result I was craving carbs and grease....

    Saturday:

B: 2 granary toast with butter

L: Small mozarella and tomato panini

D: Vegetable curry with 1/2 portion boiled rice, 1 small onion bhaji, 1/4 naan

S: Small piece of choc cheesecake which made me feel dreadful :)

    Sunday:

B/L: Ciabatta with feta cheese, vine toms and pesto

D: Spinach and ricotta canelloni and salad

    S: Nothing

Doing lots of cooking for the freezer today so should keep me busy

Well done floyd, taplady and newlywed on your weight losses. :j

Sorry to hear you have been unwell
nw...it is an quick way to lose weight admittedly! Just take things easy for a while and concentrate on getting better first rather than losing weight - leave that for the New Year!

My first trip to hospital in March this year lasted 23 days and I managed to lose 19 pounds! I have not put them back on, but have gone on to lose a total of three stone so far since then, so it is possible (very little exercise for most of the past year)!

Oh my, 23 days  So glad mine wasn't that long :o The nurses were lovely, and the other patients.... I just really wanted my bed, my bathroom and nice food ;)

Well done on the continued weight loss. That's great. I never truly realised what it would be like to not be physically able to go out for a walk for weeks, never really understood what it was like at all - till now. Those first days after the op I felt like I needed a zimmer!! Now I'm itching to go for a walk when the sun shines, but I'm strong enough yet.

However, been feeling a little better and that means I've been eating more - so there was lots of biscuits and some cake yesterday. But my belly is feeling the extra food so back on track from tomorrow hopefully.
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

I did use a zimmer for a week or so...a bit odd, but it did get me moving...rather embarassing as I was probably one of the youngest in the ward!

I am still taking much shorter walks than I used to, but at least I can now cope with the uneven ground in the fields below us, rather than having to use the footpath by a busy road. My dad sent me some walking poles which help me a lot...perhaps I can get into the next field in the coming week. Our dog thinks it's great I can take her out while it is still day-light!

Right off to get some fresh air and tidy up the front garden a bit (but not too much :D), it is lovely out there just now!

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm having a go at The Gabriel Method, not a diet but a way of changing how you eat things and what you eat alongside your other foods.

My problem is I have never liked fruit and veg much and it has started to affect my hair, ie I am losing too much which isn't good for a woman!

I have started eating salads and veg and still eat what I want as long as I eat the 'live' foods ie fruit, veg.

Google The Gabriel Method, there are quite a few vids on YouTube about it.

I haven't bought the book yet, will give it another week to see how things go and if I am still losing inches as I have done during the last couple of weeks I may buy it.
