Wow well done tappy! Welcome back vixtress and congrats on doing so well with reaching your target. Tappy is the best person to advise on maintaining as she has done really well for such a long time in keeping things under control.
I have kept off my 2 stone for nearly a year now although I did put about 6lb back on but lost it again. I find that setting myself an upper limit of what is acceptable helps, for example if I get to 12 stone I cut out all cakes, biscuits and treats until I have things under control again. It helps to look at my 'trigger photo' too, the one that I looked at and had my lightbulb momentwhen my face didn't look like my own anymore.
I hope I have managed to lose at least 1lb this week as I have really tried but I feel sluggish and heavy so we'll see0 -
Well done taplady!! 3.5lbs is excellent :T
Today's food:
breakfast - crunchynut cornflakes with ss milk
lunch - hm soup and ww yogurt

Will have to stay away from the food tonight as it's pool night and the pub food is always so tempting at about 9.30pm0 -
Hi all, just popping by to say I've lost 10lbs.... but being in hospital having an op isn't the best way to do it!!!
At home now for a few weeks so hoping not to put it all back on while I can't really exercise :rolleyes:working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Sorry to hear you've been in hospital newlywed, but 10lbs is great! You'll just have to eat a little less each day to counteract the lack of movement0

:D gosh thanks Floyd!:T
actually I do pretty much the same as you do Floyd - I weigh weekly(sometimes more often:o) and have an upper limit of 3lbs over my target weight. If I get to that I am extremely strict with myself for a week or 2 and it always goes again!
Newlywed - welcome back - hope you're feeling well after your op! 10lbs is a great loss!:T
I've had a good day today.
B - 28g puffed wheat skimmed milk, 1 slice WW bread toasted

looking at the menu it seems like a lot but its all within SW allowances and I like to eat little and often, I just cant bear feeling hungry:DDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Well done floyd, taplady and newlywed on your weight losses. :j
Sorry to hear you have been unwell nw...it is an quick way to lose weight admittedly! Just take things easy for a while and concentrate on getting better first rather than losing weight - leave that for the New Year!
My first trip to hospital in March this year lasted 23 days and I managed to lose 19 pounds! I have not put them back on, but have gone on to lose a total of three stone so far since then, so it is possible (very little exercise for most of the past year)!
I am getting a bit stuck now admittedlyt as I seem to get regular attacks of the munchies recently . I have been trying to lose the same 4 pounds over the past few weeks!!Saying that, I have managed to lose 1 pound this past week, so still on target to lose half a stone before Christmas. :j
Visiting Waitrose cafe today didn't help with weight loss plans, though only hot chocolate was consumed admittedly with cream! I felt that my friend needed some cheering up after being told at the hospital this morning that she is to have an operation on her eye next week...or lose her sight!
She has been brilliant this past year looking after me and ferrying me around while I was quite ill, I am just thankful that I am well enough to do the same for her now.
So more exercise (in my case this is only walking ATM, until my back improves further) and less eating...or rather better eating. Then I will hopefully see another pound off this time next week....here's hoping!
Have a great weekend everyone - if a bit soggy and breezy!
