    Hya folks

Well, I have put on 4 pounds this WI

Quite annoyed, but considering what I have been putting away the past couple of weeks I should be thankful it's only 4 pounds in 2 weeks!! Have had a raging "need" for carbs this week especially - (TOTM methinks :D). This is the first time I have actually put on weight since mid-July, so I have done pretty well I suppose. It does mean I have just dropped out of the "3 stone lost since March" bracket, but I can do it again, and soon I hope.

Should lose a bit in the next few days as I am having a gastroscopy and a colonoscopy ON THE SAME DAY!!:eek:
That's next Tuesday, I have stuff to take to "flush everything out"...I suspect it will be much worse than the Movicol I have been taking recently! Oh well, if they can find out what (if anything) is going wrong down the length of my alimentary canal, it will all be worth it!

Right, I now see that I have missed my Gardeners World, so I will have to catch up later on over the weekend on i-Player, very useful that.

Oh food today: (haven't done this for ages, another reason for weight gain?)

B: Porridge - made with half water, half sk milk & some raisins
    S: none
L: Baked beans (1/2 a tin) on 2 slices of HM wholemeal bread toasted
    S: Banana
T: HM fajitas with Mr T tortillas (too ill/wiped-out after seeing chiropractor to make some today); DH "kindly" bought some soured cream to have with them ....and I ate too much!! First cream of any sort for me since March...sooo goood though! :D

Oh well, tomorrow is another day!

    Have a good weekend everyone.

    M

No bfast yet as not gone shopping. 2 coffees drunk. Today looks like a soup day, very dull. Not sure about dinner. Had courgettes stuffed with green lentils yesterday v. nice but DD left hers, DS like it though. With 2 offspring I rarely find a meal enjoyed by both. HO hum. Must get moving fat is sitting heavy round my middle, in theatre last night could feel the rolls and was v. embarrassed.

Done my WI and I'm the same weight as last month icon9.gif

Decided that I'm unlikely to lose any weight in next 2 months as its my birthday and then christmas, so I've decided to aim for staying the same weight and then trying again in new year.

    B Toast
    L sanwich
    D pasta with something

Hi all just checking in from NYC!
Can't say I have been dieting as such but I am being careful about what I eat.
We are also walking ridiculous distances every day so hopefully it might just about balance out by the time I get home. At this point I would settle for a 2lb gain ;)

keep at it everyone, I will be back on the wagon as soon as I'm home

Where is everyone...it is so quiet here at the moment!

I am VERY pleased to report that I have now re-lost the 4 pounds I put on last time I weighed in. :j I think it was TOTM mainly, combined with just eating too much!

So as a new month starts, I am going to try extra-hard to keep up the wieigh-loss. I am now back over the 3 stone-lost threshold and want to see if I can lose another stone by the end of the year - well at least half a stone!

My back is slowly improving and the latest medical investigations this week (gastroscopy AND colonscopy!) have not found anything sinister, so I can now concentrate on getting better and losing more weight. Goodness knows when I will be well enough to get back to work though! I am pretty run down at the moment and need to get organised meal-wise, so I don't just go for the easy (and possibly more fattening!) option. ;)

    Food today:

    B: Porridge & raisins
    S: none!
L: Tomato soup & bread - both HM; banana
S: slice of banana bread I made last night
T: Caluiflower & cheese sauce, with two colours of cauliflower (green and yellow!) and a hard-boiled egg...mmmmmmmm; a hand-full of grapes
    S: ?

Off to work out what to have for tea tomorrow...must remember to defrost it! :D
