Good luck R-S and others who are weighing in today
The rain has stopped at last, so may well go to Mr M soon...have a big order from Mr T coming tonight, but I forgot the wholewheat spaghetti. I have already defrosted HM spag bol sauce!
So in order to keep everyone happy tonight, I will make my first solo trip to a supermarkeet this year (lots of health problems the past 11 months). I am looking forward to it, and will investigate the 30p bags of fruit & veg, as any whoopsies going.
DH and DS2 whizzing from school parents evening in Evesham (Yr 12 tutors only) to the Gloucester vs Australia rugby match via home for a quick, but filling tea. So spag bol it has to be!
Fod today
B: Porridge & raisins + OJ
S: nothing yet!
L: HM veg soup - made enough yesterday for 15 big bowls-full, most now in the freezer. HM Bread; banana
S: Museli slice
T: HM Spag. Bol. with wholewheat spaghetti
S: SF jelly with HG rasps...didn't make it last night, so hope it will have set by tonight!
Have a good days everyone.

Hi all,
I'm back from NYC and terrified of my weigh in on Saturday, I am expecting a decent 7lb gain if not more and I bet that OH won't have gained an ounce even though I ate less and we did the same exercise/activities
Anyway, back to it today even though I am desperately fightin the urge to go to bed as my red-eye flight landed at 10am so I have a long way to go before I can sleep
B: 2 wholemeal toast with butter (just easing back in gently)
L/D: Chickpea curry and brown rice with half a naan
S: Nothing
Well done all, Frogga you are doing amazingly well, keep at it :T0 -
I am stil lurking around, was only 2 and a half pound from my 2 stone target so changed the target as think would like to be 9 and a half stone again, this means I now need 16 and half pound again, sounds so far away!!Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0

Saw the "drop a dress size before Xmas" thing on GMTV this morning. Trying to get myself motivated to take part.
Hope I do better than the bikini diet they did during the summer which I signed up for but never actually took part in!
Have started eating a little healthier these days and have gone back to training (still aching after Monday's session!) so hopefully will see an improvement next weigh-in!
Hope everyone's doing well.0 -
I lost 4lbs at weigh-in last night!! That's 20lbs in total now so still on track to lse 28lbs by Xmas
Floyd - hope the gain isn't too bad. Bet the trip was worth it though!0 -
hello all!
not posted here for ages(been off the wagon a bit) but thought I'd pop back to see how you're all doing. I've got weigh in tonight and am expecting a small gain but hope to still be within
my 3lbs allowance at SW - if I go over this I have to pay! but I'm determined not to after over 18 months at target I havent paid yet!.
My sister has started The Celebrity diet at our local pharmacist and my friend from work is doing lighter life. Not OS either of them and definitely not healthy IMHO especially the lighter life one where she is surviving on 530 calories a day:eek: and no food for 14 weeks except for the shakes, soup and bars that they supply and lots of water. There's no way I could do it and watching her at work it seems like torture when others are eating.
Frogga - glad you're doing so well!:T
Floyd - good luck at getting back on track after your break x
might pop in a bit more often for some motivation!Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Hi, I wonder if I can join you. I have around 5 stone to loose to be a 'healthy' weight but would like to take it slowly (who am i kidding I'd love it to just drop off but I won't stick to a strict diet!!!) and healthily. My main downfall is very large portions and prawn cocktail crisps-especially in an evening.
However I have lost 2lb in the last week simply by not eating after my tea and if I have been piggy in one meal then cutting down at the next.
Today I have had:
B-400ml coffee made with 1%milk, banana, 1/2 an apple-it wasn't nice!
L-Hm veg soup, ham sandwich without spread or butter, grapes, melon.
T-chicken, rice and lots of vegetables.
S-mug of hot milk, 2 very small squares HM millionaires shortbread.
I ahven't done any exercise today but was at work today and my job is quite physical.July grocery- 24.40/220. NSD-1/3.
Myself, DD, 2 cats, 35 weeks pregnant.
Debts- CC's- V-775, F-1253.10, BC-3291.80, T-1429.08. Total-6748.98. All 0%. Aim- to pay £200 per month.0 -
Hi. I need to loose about 2 stone to be my happy weight although I prefer to go by clothes sizes(I'm currently a slightly uncomfy 14, want to be a 10/12). I know my own body, and would have to be around 8 stone for my own BMI to be healthy. This just isn't going to happen, I'm not built like that.
My diet is ok, eat lots of homemade food but I think my downfall is portion size.
Today I have had:
B- coffee made with semi-skimmed milk. Banana. Slice of toast, low fat spread and marmite
L- Homemade chicken, veg and tomato soup. 1 slice white bread. Packet walkers french fries(oops)
T- Will be spaghetti carbonara. It's my boyfriend's favourite and he's celebrating. But I'm going to make a half portion for me with lots of salad
Snacks have been raisins and some diary-free smarties.December GC £23.43/120 :T
Nationwide Overdraft £1136, Natwest Overdraft £1800(interest free), Natwest Credit Card £155/£350
Aim to clear overdrafts by Summer 2010

Hi all,
Well I couldnt wait until the weekend to weigh as I wanted the kick in the pants to stop me from continuing to eat rubbish and I am surprised to discover I have only gained 2 lb yay
Pretty good going considering I ate bagels with full fat cream cheese, huge slabs of pizza, pasta with mounds of red meat-based sauces and cheese, fries instead of salad on the side, cheesecake and apple pie (although I only had dessert twice in 10 days) and ice cream shakes at every opportunity!
I think alot of it was down to walking for miles, only eating until I was full and having 2 meals a day instead of 3 as I was usually still full from breakfast at 6pm! So the damage was kept to a minimum and I wasn't miserable while we were away, as there is nothing worse than watching someone else eat lovely things you shouldn't have when you are on holiday. As a side note, OH didn't gain a single ounce :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
B: Porridge with skimmed milk
L: Falafel in pitta with saladHM chicken chasseur with brown rice and veg
S: Nothing
Welcome to the new folk, I'm sure you can get there with small changes to your normal eating habits. It will take time but its the healthiest way of losing weight and also the best way of keeping it off for good! :T0 -
