    Good afternoon all,
RS so happy you're home and taking such possitive action to get your op. It never ceases to amaze me how insensitive some people can be in organisations supposed to help you. Glad you didn't stay and went on to join one far more deserving of your patronage:D .
Frogga found Caterina's list of months and it's Jubilant in January (I know I'm odd but I saved it in Word  ) As DD's wedding is the same time as Toni's I NEEEEEEED to shift this extra padding for the sake of the new suit I bought. Crumps a Christmas get together, wouldn't that be lovely :T :T . Just hope I can get DH to inject the 'ancient one' with her insulin by then. He still keeps saying he wants a dart gun. Men  . My lovely neighbour has offered to do it on the wedding day. She just lost her little diabetic dog last month so is a real pro with a needle.

So far so good, but no weigh in till the end of the month. HM lental & carrot soup lovely, warming and filling for lunch.
    Sainsbug recipe:
    125g red lentils
    1 bay leaf
    300ml water
    250g carrots, sliced
    150ml orange juice
    450ml vegetable stock
    2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
    freshly ground black pepper

You just put it all together and cook for about half and hour, remove the bay leaf and then blend. I use dried coriander no probs. Serves 4, 139 kcals per serving, or if like me Serves 3 at 186 kcals as I don't have any bread with it and just a yogurt for pud.
Will have a go at yours retiredlady, looks lovely.
Walking approx 15000 steps a day with taking Pupkin as well as older two. I know their walk is 7500 and I've been doing longer with him. Today DH did the pupkin run while I had to take DD's dog. Poor little legs will be worn down if I keep this up and they were never very long in the first place.
Spent yesterday afternoon up to my eyes in sprouts. Picked all the remaining ones and they are now in the freezer. (Sorry ispartacus75 not your favourite veg :D , should have got you to 'virtually' help me as a penance :rotfl: )
Right its now time for a nice big cuppa with a date and fig. Then for tea it's HM Beef pastie with home grown potatoes, sprouts and runner beans. Yum
Be good folks, or try and limit the damage :D . We can do it and be Jubilant in January!!!!!!

  • Come and join me on the naughty step, I could do with the company.
Do we have to sit quietly or can we whisper and giggle? (Ican't do quiet) Also if we have to do 1 min for each year a la super nanny I won't have time to make dinner.:p Then again might be able to con a teen into making something.;)

Finding things tough at present, watched McKenna programme and have started eating more slowly but no big improvement I think, still eating as much as ever...I am blaming the fact that since 5th December I have had visitors for at least 2 nights a week and it won't stop until 26th January....have also had Christmas and two weddings thrown in to really confuse me.

    Good luck everyone

    Marie

Crikey, all that company would have me stress eating non stop!:rotfl: Just suggest you do the best you can and don't beat yourself up when you over do it. The 26th will be here before you know it, you can take a deep breath (and have a large drink):D then get stuck back in to it 100%

I'd like to join you lovely slimmers if that's ok? I went back to SW last night after an 18 month break. I have put on 1 1/2 stones in that time since being diagnosed with ME, so even though exercise is limited and not sure how I'm going to manage on bad days I'm determined to shift it :D

I've got 2 weddings, a special birthday and 'fingers crossed' my uni graduation so I have good motivation.

    Today I have had -
Brekky - 2 Weetabix, banana, ss milk
Lunch - 4 sesame ryvitas, 3 laughing cow lights, tomatoes
Tea - SW chips, poached egg and beans - it's cooking now and I can't wait

The free ones at Aldi are the optifit ones with wholegrains - 4 different flavours with muisli and blueberry being my favorite although the strawberry and orangey ones are good too. It is only the ones with grains that are free, the others are quite high in syns;)

thanks this is what I got although it was a bit confusing :D
I also went to Tesco and the Ryvita goodness bars are reduced to £1 a box ( 2 = 1heb)and the skinny cow lollies also £1 a box(4 syns I think- need to check this again but they are delicious)
    Do what you love :happyhear

Oh I love skinny cow lollies! I went to my local farm shop to day and they are now also selling frozen veg so between them and my yogurts at Aldi I blew my whole £20.00 food budget in one day. I am going to have to very inventive this week with my meals as I will have to get through the next week with zero spend:D:D

I managed fine on it last week, only buying milk and stayed within budget. Luckily I have 6 litres of long life milk in the cupboard, so time to start mixing it with the fresh! My family all say they don't like long life milk but I have found that if they don't know that it is long life they don't seem to notice:p

    icon7.gifDaily eating plan
Good morning everyone, what happened to the sun, freezing fog here now:mad:? You really need loads of warming foods to eat when the weather is like this (at least I do:o)

OK - here is my plan for today:

Breakfast - egg and bacon plus yogurt and berries plus a banana (free)

    milk in coffees (hea)

Lunch - left oven SW chicken curry from the freezer along with the remains of last nights rice (free)

Snack - coffee and a couple of alpen lights (choc&toffee) cut into small pieces and I shall pretend I am eating chocs:p (heb)

Dinner - sausages with mashed potatoes and peas plus a yorkshire pudding! (4 syns)

Evening - jelly with sliced bananas and yogurt (1 syn)

That should see me through the day:p:rotfl:

    Love

  • Yesterday eve was v.v. bad. I found a packet of choc biccies and retired to my room with a book and ate almost all of them. Didn't cook the diner planned - made potato cakes instead, I only had 2 with nothing else - no room. Did sausages for the males and quorn pieces for DD. Later in the eve had a bowl of vanilla ice cream. Also never went out so no walking done.
Start again today. Of to work in a min. DD has friend to stay this eve so we will def be having the spag bol that was planned for yesterday. I will take ryvita and philly to work with apple and clemintine. The toffee tin is now empty if anyone brings more in I will cry. Have a good day everyone.
