Hi, another day in and apart from a little faux par in the form of a snickers bar today, I'm still doing fine with my calorie counting. I have to admit I have been very hungry today, hopefully it will start to settle when I get used to the reduced calorie intake. As I'm weighing everything at the moment, I'm really surprised at just how much more I was eating than I should have:eek:.
I have my motivation though, I saw a photo taken of me just before Christmas, and it made me cry, but I have to say as much as it was distressing at the time, it really was what I needed to kick me up the bum and get my head in the right place to get my weight problem in check. I can now see myself as others do.
My food today:
B. Shreddies (dry)
L. Jacket potato, can ravioli, melon
D. Stir fried veg in cantonese sauce with rice
Snacks: 2 satsumas, celery and houmous0 -
evening everyone!
have put half a pound on this week:mad: still been eating too many of the christmas leftovers between meals:D
new start tomorrow.
well done to those who have lost and welcome back to the oldies and hello to the newbies!:hello:
food today
B - 1 slice toast plus soaked muesli with extrs fruit
L - veggi soup, 3 pagen wholemeal krispbreds with chese and pickle, banana, grapes.
D - poached egg on toast
plus about 4 or 5 chocolates.
RS - sorry you had such a bad experience at SW - I'd definitely complain. let me know if you need the password for this week. Any advice you need re SW just ask x
Frogga - hope you're doing well x
take care allDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Hi everyone - hope you are all having a good evening. After the uncomfortable experience with SW this morning I went to a different SW class tonight and what a difference! The consultant was lovely and there were alot of other new members and she took ages going through the book with us. I weighed in at 23st 8lbs which is okay since it was an evening weigh in so I can report an 8lb loss for this week. DD1 and I joined and have decided to give the Extra easy plan a go, but making everything from scratch as much as possible.
Today I have had:
B - 2 small slices wholemeal toast with cottage cheese
L - mashed carrot and parsnip, mashed potato, peas and green beans all mixed up and dry fried into a sort of bubble and squeak with 3 low fat sausages
D - home made SW beefburger, small wholemeal roll, large salad, SW chips (which were lovely!) and a tbs of Hellmanns extra light mayo, followed by a Mullerlight toffee yoghurt.
Still feel like I have a mountain to climb but coming on here makes it much more enjoyable!Jane

Morning people!
I'm not fasting today so will need to think about lunch! Been watching paul mcKenna and think i will stick with him for a while, as i have seen proof of it working with my sister. That and the fact that my 2year old DS keeps telling me to tap my eyes mummy!!
I have been good though generally and can alrady see a (slight) difference in my waist, not gonna jump on the scales yet. Need to get on the wii today and so some excercise, as didn't do any yesterday.
breakkie -oat so simple porridge with ss milk
lunch - halfchicken baguette
snax - low fat yoghurt & satsuma
dinner - grilled chicken and steamed veg and rice.
Paul does say Eat what you want When you want - but am still trying to be more careful about cooking or eating healthier stuff as i want to get fitter as well as lose the weight.
have a good day all xx0 -

Bless me forum for I have sinned. I have partaken of the Creme Egg thrice. They arrived in my house with my good lady wench and the pre-McKenna show craving was simply too much to deal with. If only I had waited till the show and I could have squeezed my fingers together instead.
I promise to abide by any punishment the forum deems fit (though I draw the line at eating sprouts).
Today
Bran Flakes
Mandarins
Savoury rice and tuna
Mandarins
Not sure what we have till I look in the freezer.

We forgive you and for your penance you must eat 5 pieces of fruit, take a walk around the block and tap your forehead at least 10 times:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ah, well, have confirmed that my biggest problem is going to be the temptation afforded by being at home now! Yesterday at lunchtime I just fancied so many things which were all easily available in my fridge...let's just say I ate two lunches! No solution other than will-power, so....takes a big gulp and crosses fingers! Have target of losing 7lbs before trip to Oz early in March - slightly less than 1lb per week, which ought to be possible. Trouble is, I could easily eat again now! Must do some housework and then take dogs for long walk methinks.Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0
