    Hi All

Bit of a boozy weekend, nevermind, back on the healthy (or at least healthier) eating again.

    Todays plan/already hads

    Brekkers
    Porridge, mmmmmm, cuppa tea

    nice nibble
Mini (2-piece) certain chocolate - sounds like Bradbury's Baramel, mmmmm

    Lunch
    HM lasagne ~already eaten. mmmmmmmmm

    later-onsies
    Grapes, plum, apple

    Dinner
HM burgers avec bacon & cheese

    Tomorrow's plan

    Brekkers
Either Jam on Toast or porridge, depending on the weather and what time I get up! cuppa tea (of course)

    Lunch
    Egg on (wholemeal) toast

    Dinner
IS DS's 21st Birthday so will be Take-away family meal deal from nice Kebab shop, salad, and mayhap a small beverage:beer:

Tis drizzly rain outside (the sort that makes you soaking wet) so no lunchtime walk for me as have inappropriate jacket. Will go the long way round to get home to make up for it.

Had a bad week last week had a cold coming and going all week (dry cough turning to aching joints and lost voice) so ate rubbish - as in salty fatty snacks (very tasty too! :o) and drank wine in evenings.

I ended the working week with a hot bath and hot curry and felt loads better Saturday day time, walked into town and back, walked the dogs legs off and then was sick Saturday night and all day Sunday so ate 2 slices of dry bread and drank flat lemonade BUT every cloud has a sliver lining coz I'm the same weight as last week :j

    So today has been:
Breakfast - 2 pieces of toast with peanut butter and 2 cuppa's
Lunch - last of Fridays curry (well money saving over-rode diet)
Dinner - Chicken in some form, bought fresh corriander so will probably use that in a coconut milk sauce.

Tomorrow will probably be similar although I'm going to get the slow cooker out again seeing as the weather has turned cold.

Right. Weighed myself on Sunday morning. Am a stone more than I ought/want to be.

So have 15lbs to lose in 13 weeks - hmmm. Well ok then 13lbs in 13 weeks would do :rolleys:

Yesterday used the wii fit for the first time - did an hour of various easy exercises. Bit put out that I said to OH I was thinking of getting up to do the wii fit when he goes for a run in the morning and he laughed at me getting up at 6:30 (I'm not a morning person, but still could have done with some support )

Today I plan to go for a lunch time walk for an hour.

    Food yesterday was:
brunch: farls, 2 fried eggs and smoked salmon. One biscuit
afternoon: one HM roll (just testing them ;))
tea: steamed smoked haddock, steamed veg and mash with a napoli sauce. And a few pfeffernusse :o

    Food plan today:
b: two slices HM wholemeal toast with marge and thin spreading of jam
l: Smoked salmon and egg mayo (low fat mayo) in HM rolls
d: turkey, lentil and veg curry with naan.

Snacks: banana and some frozen black cherries.

Nothing worse is there? Just use that as your motivation to prove him wrong! :rotfl: Good luck with it, I know how hard it is to get up early to exercise and have never managed to stick at it so I will be super-impressed when you do it :T

B/L: 2 slices wholemeal toast dry with bramble jelly

D: HM scouse with beetroot and a crusty cob

S: Maybe a nice coffee later

Have a good week all :D

    Hya Folks

Been AWOL for a bit, as I was back in hospital 1st to 5th October. This time with severe abdomenal cramps, X-rays showed I was "bunged up" right to the stomach!!

Suffice to say enemas , suppositeries :D and packets of Movicol were involved in my treatment! Back home now and still suffering a bit.
Not everything has been shifted though, so I still feel bloated and in pain. :o

The main cause of my constipation is the painkillers I am taking (dihyhrocodeine) for my back pain. I was diagnosed with an ulcer a few weeks back caused by the Naproxen (also taken for my back pain). In stopping that, I upped the dihydrocodeine, hence the constipation! Medication is supposed to help you, not produce further problems!!!

So taking as high fibre meals as possible - porridge for breakfast; baked beans on (wholemeal) toast with a poached egg for lunch; still thinking about tea. Snacks involve dried apricots & figs, as well as HM muesli slice. DH is going to look for prune juice for me...all this lot should shift an elephant (as my Dad would say)!!!

To a nicer topic of conversation: I have lost 1 pound in the past two weeks :j As it is TOTM, I am quite chuffed, despite suffering the predicament mentioned above.

I am only weighing every 15 days (a la Paul McKenna), so we'll see what I will be like at the next WI. Still, a loss is a loss!

Now off to make more muesli slice, without fat and fruit juice....should be interesting, but I will have a go.

It has been quiet here, I didn't have to read
many posts in order to catch up.

Hope everyone is OK and managing to eat healthily, even if not managing to lose much weight.

BTW whaere has our little green friend gone? Doesn't she usually log her monthly weight loss at the beginning of the month? I do hope she is OK.

Have you ever tried pruneaux d'Agen? They are prunes, but not the nasty, dried type you normally get in this country. They are tasty, sweet and juicy. I ate them by the bucketload while living in France. They are harder to get over here, but I found some small bags in Marks and Spencers that you could eat with your lunch. They are just called 'Agen Prunes' and are well tasty.n I was delighted to find them again. Mmm...:j

    Good luck!

    Morning all.

Well yesterday had a rice krispie bar but no other biscuits so not too bad.
Also went for a 2.6 mile walk in my lunch hour.

Today is a rest day from exercise though - otherwise I end up too exhausted at the end of the week.

    Food plan today:

b: 2 slices HM wholemeal toast with cherry jam
l: one small roll with smoked salmon and egg mayo
    d: chilli wraps

Snacks are a nana, some frozen cherries and a packet of low fat baked crisps.
