Morning all!
Yesterday went a little bit wrong with regards to tea - substituted the veggie chilli for a quorn fillet, baked beans and wedges but didn't have anything else.
Today's food will be...
B - cereal (milk to dog)
L - don't know yet as boss is taking me out for a farewell lunch
D - 5 bean veggie chilli (syn free) with a little bit of cheese on top
S - have already had 2 chocs at work - will stop now!
E - walk dog for at least an hour, some vigourous hoovering
So it won't be a very good day with the lunch out but I'll try to limit the damage.0 -

Good afternoon
Good luck with the WI tonight Taplady
It was very Autumnal this morning, but at least the rain has stopped now...for the moment at least! Aaargh it is back, and heavier than ever!
I had a good friend visiting this morning for a good natter. She always seems to bring the rain with her when she comes over!
So food today:
B: Porridge (1/2 n 1/2 water & milk) with raisins + OJ
S: HM chewy muesli slice (giving everyone my recipe!)
L: HM Carrot & Coriander soup + one slice of HM wholemeal bread , Nectarine
S: Apple
T: Baked pot & Baked beans + veg...got some kale in today's veggie box, so will prob have that. (plan on avoiding sausages that others are having!)
S: another chewy muesli slice
The next two days could be a disaster food-wise, but we'll see..
Off to get DS2's GCSE results tomorrow and may go to Frankie & Bennys for lunch as DS2's favourite restaurant (Pizza Express comes close, but none in town where school is!). I am about to investigate their menus online, so I have an idea of what to have. We don't go there very often, usually for special occasions with the kids, esp DS2!. Just looked at the F&B menus, I think I will have the "Little Italy Mussels" as a main dish, and nothing else but water! I may have a bite if someone else's garlic bread/pizza, but only a little bit! I might go and see if I can find a money-off voucher for F&B anywhere...that will help the bank balance! It is only going to be DH DS2 & me, so we are having a take-away on Friday night for DS1 (Vietnamese I think, though that could change!), who is off to Warwick Uni in October.
Now off to check out what everyone's having for tea. DS2 has made his early as he is off to rugby training @ 6.30, so has to eat early. DS1 is still ill in bed (but needs feeding up) & doesn't like B pot, so noodles for him! DH will take DS2 to training and then come home for his tea...and DS1's GF may turn up @ 7! I will go and check with DS1 if/when she is coming, and whether she needs feeding, and with what....kids!
