    Hi all,

Still here, had another wobble (literally ;) ) but I have been doing really well for the last week and I'm pleased to report a 4lb loss :)
I had a bit of a moment of clarity that I was rapidly in danger of undoing all my hard work from last year just by getting a bit lapse with measuring things like pasta and oil. So back to basics, measure proper portions of pasta, rice and spuds, limit sweet treats and non homemade foods and do more biking.

B: Bran flakes and skimmed milk

L: Wholemeal sandwich with 2oz strong cheddar, cucumber and HM chutney

D: Veggie haggis, mashed sweet potato, swede, carrots, cabbage, peas

Tomorrow I am doing my favourite mexican banquet dinner as I bought some great chipotle chillies from Borough Market but I have already calculated exactly what I can have (and OH) and only bought enough for that and no more.

Chicken burrito with HM salsa, guacamole and sour cream
    Spanish rice
Corn on the cob (no butter as its the supersweet variety)
    Tortilla chips with salsa
    Salad

    Cant wait :)

Hope you are all sticking with it, I haven't had time to read through and see what everyone is up to but I will catch up

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi all,

Was feeling a bit down on myself this morning, havng sat here & eaten half a malt loaf! Anyway, I then dug out a box of clothes that were put away a couple of years ago as they were too small & started trying a few things on for motivation. I was pleasantly surprised to find a skirt I could start wearing again (slightly snug round the waist, but not too bad) and I can actually do some jeans up that are a size 14, even though they give me a huge muffin top!

So, the plan for today is:

Breakfast - 2 slices toast, extra light cheese triangle, half a malt loaf (oops)
Lunch - nothing as I'm still stuffed from breakfast
Dinner - Morroccan chicken & cous cous

    :D

  • Hello
    Welcome all the newbies.
I haven't been on for a couple of days so just catching up and signing in.
Food hasn't been too bad but I've not managaed the walk to work at all this week, was involved in courses and couldn't afford to be late or exhusted. Also had after work comitments which put time restraints on me. Maybe walking every day will be unachievable so will try for a more realistic one or two days to start with and build up from there.
Off out shortly, will have cereal followed by fruit and nat yog for bfast. Other meals unknown as to be provided by others. Hope to make the most of the weather and get some walking in today.

something i have been having over the last three days is a veggie stir fry with either rice or cous cous with blue dragons sweet chilli sauce.

the veggies i got were 3 red onions, one large courgette, packet baby corn, and also half a carrot in thurs meal. chop your various veggies up, spray the wok/pan with fry light and cook that. make your cous cous up (still a learner with that but managed ok) or cook your rice. add your preferred amount of sweet chilli sauce to the veggies once they are ready. dish up!

free foods are cous cous, veggies, rice

pointed foods are sweet chilli sauce 1 pt per tablespoon

I hope you are all loving this wonderful day, apologies to those with dour skies.

I have decided to start the Paul McKenna 90 day plan today using his journal. In preparation, I have been re-reading my "I can make you Thin" book of Paul's
(still can't find the CD though ) as well as starting to write daily in a page-a-day unused old (2006) diary.

This morning I weighed myself, and I seem to have lost 5 1/2 pounds this past week!! :j
I also got my OH to measure me all over (bust, waist, hips, widest part , arms, knees & thighs) this morning, and I have lost 5 1/2 inches...wow, so something is working at last!! :j Here's hoping I can keep things moving in the right direction from now on.
I will be completing a written daily diary; trying to follow Paul's four rules WRT eating; weighing and measuring only every two weeks...and coming on here more regularly of course!!!

The 90 days will take me to the week before my birthday, so my reward will be to buy a new outfit to wear for my birthday meal!! I am already looking forward to it! What is scary, my birthday is just under 5 weeks to Christmas , so another plan is to try and make a Christmas present a week, once I work out what I plan to make, and for whom!!

I am also looking into the flylady thread (as well as the online US version...there is so much on there, will take ages to trawl through), to see if there is anything I can do to help get this tip of a house into some kind of order.

    Are these too many plans??

There is also the minor detail of getting my health back, but if I can organize the rest of my life, perhaps things will improve there too...at least I hope so.

    Food for today:

B: 2 weetabix, Sk Milk, sugar & OJ
S: some grapes, HM muesli slice
L: HM Carrot & coriander soup + 1 slice HM wholemeal bread, nectarine
S: More muesli slice, it is soooo scrummy!!...I froze half of it yesterday
T: BBQ chicken drumsticks, pitta bread & lots of salad veg; rasps (from garden!)
S: HM fruit loaf (fat & sugar free!)

Right off for a late lunch...and Ricky Ponting is out...fantastic!! (listening to TMS).

I'll be in touch soon, when I have time from all my plans!
