Morning all!
I know I have said it before but I'll say it again - I'm going to try harder!!!
My wedding is in exactly 2 months with the dress fitting in 1 month and I have to lose half a stone at least (to make me happy not to fit the dress thankfully!).
I seem to be sabotaging myself all of the time - starting off with good intentions but failing miserably by the evening. I don't know why - I am a bit stressed, in the last few months I've decided to change career to teaching (starting PGCE in Sept), got the wedding looming, mum's due an operation, just resigned from my job of 9 years and feel a bit flustered generally.
That's all excuses so I have to start again!
I lost 10lbs (kept most of it off) and then gave up.
So I want to be 9 st 13lb (just so I can say I'm 9st something!) by the wedding - so according to my scales that's 8lbs away. When I'm in the right frame of mind I can lose half a stone in a month quite easily so I know I can do it!
So today's food is...
B - cereal (milk to dog)
L - banana, grapes, satsuma (forgot my sandwich but don't want to buy one as they're generally bad from the shop near work)
D - grassington veggie sausages and mash (will make extra mash to use for a quorn shepherds pie tomorrow)
S - go ahead yoghurt break biscuit
E - walk dog for about an hour and when OH goes to footie maybe 20-30 mins of an exercise DVD (Haven't done this for ages so not sure how long I'll last!)
I'm sorry about the long woffley post - just venting really!
If you see me near the biscuit tin shoot me!!!!0 -
Oh and I forgot to mention that for the next month I'm abandoning SW and trying calorie counting for a change. Perhaps this will give me new motivation?0

Congratulations everybody who has lost some weight.
Today I have eaten so far:
2 plums, 2 egg omelette with bacon, cheese and tomato in it, 1 slice toast, tea;
Large fruit scone with butter, homemade jam and cappuccino.
Plans for the rest of the day:
Grapes, couple of satsumas or whatever they are at this time of year, stir-fried veg and couscous with some cooked beef, banana and as much water as I can drink.
Have a good evening all

I've had a really ropey day today - feel really bloated and washed out.
Will have to keep on top of things or all my good intentions will go flying out of the window.
Better tomorrow I hope. Hope everyone else has had a good day.0 -

rachel m - keep up the motivation, you will get there, its hard when you feel stressed, food can be such a comfort, is there anything easy to organise that you can do to ease the stress - watch favourite comedy show??? etc0 -
Morning everyone.
I don't have very high hopes for today's eating I'm afraid.
I am currently having a very stressful time at work, plus I have bad PMT so I am very miserable and teary and not really coping well at all.
There's no way I feel like even trying to resist some naughty treats today, to cheer myself up. Sorry everyone.............
I can hear that hot sausage roll calling to me as I type
And we are going to a wedding reception on Friday evening and there will be a hog roast - so that means CRACKLING!!! Unfortunately I love crackling, so I will no doubt eat far too much of the stuff, ha ha!
Ah well, I hope things will calm down at work over the next week or so, and that I will also come on, so my PMT goes away. Then I might be able to think straight!!
Hugs,
Caz

Hi all,
Was good yesterday - the only extra snacks were lychee and grapes! And did 2 mile walk in lunch - to sainsburys with no cakes or biscuits bought, just lots of yellow stickered fruit
So that makes 2 days of being good.
Plan for today:
b: farls and 2 poached eggs
l: potato salad with tinned salmon, lettuce and some roast veg left from yesterday
d: chilli wraps (chilli in the slow cooker)
Snacks are: a couple of small slices of melon, a few leftover lychee, grapes
Feeling like a fat frump today (TOTM never helps) so fairly determined to be goodworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Newlywed - I know how the fat frump feeling is!
Yesterday wasn't too bad in the end - stuck to it well during the day and then changed the evening meal to a sweet potato curry to use up fresh veg in the fridge. Had a wholemeal pitta bread with it instead of naan or rice and it was actually quite nice. I have some leftovers for lunch today too. I did have a pack of mini cheddars (from a multipack) in the evening but they were about 110 cals, so not too bad.
Today's food will be....
B - cereal (milk to dog)
L - leftover sweet potato curry and a pitta bread and banana
D - quorn fillet and spicy potato wedges
S - 2 satsumas
E - dog walking for an hour, bit of house work
Hope I can keep it up!0 -
