  • Thanks for all the supportive comments everyone. I will continue to lurk and maybe even post occassionally, but I find that keeping a food diary (even a basic one) just makes me obsess about food and makes my binge-eating worse (how pathetic is that, when the first thing a dietician asks you to do is to write a food diary :) ?).
Anyway, I'm having a psychological assessment tomorrow afternoon regarding my binge eating and hoping that they are more help than they were a couple of years ago - at that time I was sent to a 12 week group therapy session with no follow up help. This time I'm hoping that they'll actually listen to me and get me some long-term one-to-one counselling.
Not picky at all, am I? :)

Anyway, back off to lurk on the sidelines. Keep up the good work everyone, yo all seem to be doing really well.

Had a pretty ropey day today - ended up having a half a pizza for quickness when I got back from the shops after work.

Will try to do better tomorrow!!!

Morning all. Went to the chippy for tea last night so will try harder today :o

Breakfast today was potato farl, two poached eggs (have been eating them fried recently), and a small slice of smoked salmon.

Lunch is a banana and honey sandwich :o - I've not been eating very well recently so honestly - this is an improvement ;)

    Tea will be shepherds pie.

Snacks are some cherries and some grapes.

    Morning all,

URgh, I'm not feeling too well today. Sore throat and quite lethargic - hope I don't have the oink flu!! Unfortunately it isn't bad enough to be off work, so I'm doing a quick post from my desk.

Really not feeling up to exercise today, so that's another day being lazy! Oops.

Was good all day yesterday, but my portion size for dinner was rather too large, as my friend gave us some of her home grown new potatoes and cabbage & kale. My partner and I scoffed the lot last night - they were sooo gorgeous. Veggies no problem of course, but I ate FAR too many delicious potatoes!!

    Today's eats:
Breaky: Slice of bread with spread on (don't feel like anything else)
Lunch: Pittas with tuna/red onion. Banana.
Dinner: Don't know yet, haven't planned anything!
    Snacks: Bag of quavers. Fruit.

Have a good day everyone. Hope my cold symptoms improve!

Good Morning everyone, yesterday was good as I stuck to my eating plan 100% - even said no to the donut which my naughty husband brought home!

Today I have a busy day planned as have to get the motorhome MOT'd tomorrow morning and it needs to be emptied out. We tend to use it as a store room off season!

    Today I am eating:

B - rice with eggs and ham
    s - banana and yogurt
L - smoked peppered mackeral salad
s - scan brans with berries and quark
D - SW quiche with loads of vegetables and jacket potato
s - if any room left over have some cooked chicken thighs to nibble on!

    Love

  • Sorry to hear you're not feeling too well cazzasmazza, sounds like you need to forget the diet for today and just eat whatever your body needs/wants. That's what I tell myself when I'm feeling a bit rubbish anyway

Yesterday wasn't too bad for me, althought it wasn't great either. My new Kitchenaid didn't turn up, so I managed to resist baking last night. I did munch a cookie as a result of the dreaded 9pm snack attack, but I won't worry about that too much. I'm hoping that my Kitchenaid will be delivered today because I have my dance class at the gym tonight so won't have time to test it out!

    Today's plan..

B: Baked beans on 1 slice of soya/linseed bread (mmm!) and cup of tea
L: Leftovers from lastnight (tuna fish cake with some cous cous) and small pot of HM yoghurt
D: Balsamic roated veg with rice

    Snacks: Banana, cup of tea

    Exercise: 1hour dance class

Hi everyone and thanks for all the good wishes, it really helps. We still don't know if Friday see's my OH out of work for sure but I'm keeping everything crossed. Today I had X2 toast and marmalade for breakfast, lunch is salad with a little bit of cheese and fruit to snack later. Not sure what dinner will be yet, must plan better. I too have an appt with the local surgey nurse this evening as she runs a weight loss clinic so I'll let you all know if I get offered a SW pass too. Hope everyone has a great day and extra hugs for those feeling under the weather.
It's up to me now and nobody else.
