    ok day 2 ...

    b- muesli
l - bagel and butter, orange juice coffee
d-hm chilli, rice and half naan bread (chilli had lots of veg, lentils etc in it)

drank lots of water today in work... no snacks so far

had 40 minute walk - to and from meeting, normally would have taken the car:j

meeting friend later @ ice cream parlour, hoping to have fresh fruit salad (she chose the venue, is not aware that I am trying to lose weight! has been dismissive of me losing weight in the past...)

(supper last night was apple, 2 rice cakes, some pesto on rice cakes)

having friends round for a visit on Friday, if weather is good we will walk to park, if not will take kids swimming

i do feel better, more positive about keeping up healthy eating and increasing my exercise levels, posting on here is a bit like a public declaration, will keep me motivated

    Quite a good day today,

    B - cereal and milki
L - ham sandwich, yogurt, rice cakes
D - Jaket potato with tuna mayo

Snacks - banana, apple and mini cheddars

I also have some greek yogurt with honey which I'm saving for supper. Tomorrow is fish and chip lunch day at work and I had been going to give it a miss but one of the girls suggested just having the fish. So thats what I'll do and it will still be the treat I look forward to every week.

    Morning all!

We have our 5 year old nephew staying over the weekend, so I won't have time to get online until Monday. He's a whirlwind of energy, so at least I will be burning lots of calories chasing after him.....:rotfl:

Yesterday I STILL ate too much in the evening. At about 8pm, I scoffed a mini pork pie AND a white Magnum. I just can't seem to resist

I'm finding it really hard to stick to healthy eating foods in the evenings (during the day it isn't a problem). Any suggestions to help me????

    Today's mealplan is:
Breakfast: Don't know yet - not feeling like eating my malties, so I'll have a nectarine in a bit.

Lunch: Mini wholewheat pittas with low fat cream cheese, spring onion, cucumber and ham

Dinner: A grilled beefburger in a bap with salad and a couple of new potatoes left over from last night

Snacks: A Breakway and packet of Walkers French Fries

Going to Curves at lunchtime, for 30 mins exercise.

Hope you are all doing better than me at the moment. I will see if I have managed to lose anything this week when I weigh myself on Monday morning

    Hugs,
    Caz

Succombed to two squares of chocolate last night - but previously I'd have eaten at least half the bar. Breakfasy this morning was 2 weetabix...and a slice of homemade granary bread, a smidgen of butter and marmalade. I wish I'd stopped at the weetabix! Lunch - probably oatcakes and a couple of slivers of smaked mackerel. No idea what DH has in mind for supper yet.
Need to get down to Curves soon, too. Am trying to go almost daily at present!
    Enjoy your day, folks.

Rockie - great to hear from you!:j:j:j

The meal last night was lovely - but hugely fattening:D
Back to it today although I've got half a chocolate orange in the fridge that I am trying to ignore but its not easy!:D

    B - 2 small toast with marmalade

    S - banana

L - jacket, beans and salad

    S - mullerlite

D - 1 smoked cod fishcake, SW chips, mushypeas

am working all weekend so planning is needed.
    Do what you love :happyhear

Curves is a ladies only gym. American in origin I think. There is a circuit of machines and recovery boards alternately. You only do 30 seconds per "station" and 3 complete circuits in half an hour. I didn't think 30 seconds sounded nearly long enough until I tried it! In the half hour you will have exercised every major muscle group. I find it varied enough not to be boring - and it's very popular here! It costs £29 per month, and as I tend to be there every day apart from Sundays I think that's good value.
