Didn't have very much at all yesterday as was too busy:

    Breakfast:
    Cereal
    Wholemeal toast with nutella
    Fruit salad

    Lunch:
    Ham and lettuce roll

    Snacks:
A few chips with a teensy bit of mushy peas and tartar sauce

    Dinner:
    Nothing

Ate all the stuff I packed yesterday (bar the Nutrigrain bar) and cereal for breakfast today. Over-stuffed and made myself feel sick, lol:P

All good, 118/80 and that was after a very salty weekend (lots of cheese, crisps and white bread ;) ) so I'm pleased with that :D

Today will be tough because we are eating at a friends place and I think it will be buffet food so temptation everywhere :o

B/L: Not sure yet as we don't have much in, probably some sort of ciabatta roll with salad

D: Buffet food so whatever seems the healthiest, could be cold meats and salad or fruit and some rice

    S: Nothing

Have a fab weekend all, the biking has been delayed until tomorrow as OH has been on nights and is in no mood to go ;)

hello folks, can I join in too? Think Ive had too many hobnobs lately and got a shock when I visited back home last week, felt like I'd piled on the pounds compared to the rest of the family. Anyway Ive been stict since coming back, only yesterday,:rotfl: so I had porridge for breakfast, poached egg for lunch and we had fish for tea.
So far today Ive had a bowl of porridge and got on the scales 9st 12 which is a lot for me as Im only 4ft 11, so Im hoping to rid at least 1 stone.
With you folks to spur me on, hope I'll reach my goal, will weigh in again next Saturday!:T

Hello everyone, thanks for your kind messages welcoming me!

It's nice to be part of this thread as we all have the same goal and I totally agree the best way to weight loss is healthy diet and exercise - no fads for me!! :D

Tonight's dinner is HM mung dhal and basmati rice YUMMO! I do love meat, but we are having a veggie night.

The secret is not to scoff too much rice, but that's always been my problem - I've always loved stuffing the carbs back like they're going out of fashion, ha ha! :rotfl:

Portion control will be my biggest challenge. That and getting off my big backside and doing more exercise.

So ready for my Monday start proper, I have an appointment in the bathroom for my "official" weigh in, first thing tomorrow morning, (in the nuddie after a wee!) I am DREADING it! Hope I don't faint with shock.

Going to log it down and track my progress weekly. I will try to resist weighing myself more than once a week, as that's naughty and can be demotivating.

Anyway, thanks again for your warm welcome and I look forward to joining you all in your weight loss successes..... time will tell!

Cazza - I'm a huge lurker on this thread cos I can never bring myself to post. However I too have 6 st to lose so you have prompted me to do it at last. :D

I will join you in the great nuddie weigh in tommorrow morning (I have to get up at 6.30) so you will not be on your own. I have been quite good today but not exactly dieting but I will launch off on Monday.

Off to hunt out a suitable wesite for calories etc.....

Welcome turfy6 and JayJay14. Today hasn't been to good food wise and scale wise. Today I had:

    B. Muesli and semi-skimmed milk
    L. Ainsley Harriott's pea soup and 2 slices of bread and butter.
    S. Apricots, grapes and an iced finger.
    D. An eighth of a slice of beef pie, baked sweet potato chips, 1.5 corn on the cobs and carrots. Oh and one mini Quorn Cornish pasty with no filling (what a waste of calories).
    S. Orange.

Exercise: Walked 2.5 miles, 33 minutes on the exercise bike, 35 minutes on the treadmill, weights, abdominal exercises and one hour on the stepper.
Stepped on scales at 9.30pm and I weighed 13st 9lbs - absolutely gutted. Had a wee and weighed again at 10pm 13st. 8lbs. So I'm sticking to 13st. 8lbs - a one pound loss. Target this week is to weigh out my muesli and eat my main meal blindfolded so I can retune into my stomach.

Well a quick post before I go out to see it Aldi has any super 6 left.

Weighed in at 18st 4lb. I'm not going to put this on my sig but with your help I hope to record a loss with some regularity. I have 88lb to lose altogether but my first target is as much as poss before 29th October when OH and I are going on a cruise.

My bigest problem is that I really do not like salad - couln't eat a tomato or cuc to save my life. I also find it difficult not to munch for England while I am at work. I sit at a desk all day with a computer so I tend to have a drawer full of stuff. I always take 2-3 portions of fruit with me but I have never found fruit filling at all (much rather have mini cheddars!!)

I'm hoping that by posting I keep myself in lne.

Thanks for the welcome folks, yesterday was a good day, had porridge for breky quite late then a slice of toast for lunch but then had hm pizza for tea with garlic bread, not very good but was absolutely starving!!
Better today porridge and 1 hobnob (naughty) and then just had my pork roast dinner which was delish. Nothing now until tomorrow except a couple of glasses of water. Hope everyone is surviving the weekend, I think its harder than the rest of the week as you seem to be more organised, well at least I do;)
