Glad to see I'm not the only one that loses a bit of focus over the weekend - brill news retiredlady - 6lb in a week is incredible!

Anyway, I slipped slightly at the weekend and got persuaded into a Chinese takeaway - mushroom chow mein & sweet & sour chicken (not the fried one though!) - I did suffer a bit afterwards, so got my come uppance! Anyway, stood on the scales this morning and am down to 15 stone - as I'm not sure where I started it's a bit tricky, but I think I must ahve lost at least a stone at this point.

    Anyway, today:

Breakfast: Bagel with low fat marg
Lunch: chicken, new potatoes, cauliflower & veggie stuffing
Dinner: Salmon pasta with low fat creme fraiche

Not planned in any snacks today, though am starting to get a bit peckish so might have to have an Alpen bar.

I'm glad to say that yesterday went to plan apart from an extra light laughing cow triangle & a pack of marmite bread sticks, oops!

    Anyway, today:

Breakfast - bagel with low fat marg
Lunch - sushi, pineapple & smoothie
Snack - probably a slice of toast when I get home from work as feeling quite hungry
Dinner - HM risotto with trimmed bacon & veggies

Hmm, quite a lot of rice today actually, but I left my ham salad at home to had to go to Boots for lunch, doh!

Hello ladies, thought I would mooch back here to get things going again. Have had a very active time with holiday and festivals etc (all somewhat challenging with a toddler, but fun!). Didn't lose but managed to sts over the past month while eating and drinking in holiday mode, so that's something.

But what I'm very excited about is the purchase of a wii and wii fit! It was at OH's instigation (another positive thing having him on board), and I must admit to thinking it would just gather dust in the cupboard. But I am really enjoying it. Only had it 3 days so far, and managed an hour on it today - you really work up a sweat on it and it is rather addictive.

So, as ever, it is just the eating side of things to sort out. Today I've had:
B: 2 eggs on potato waffles (500 cals)
L: Boots meal deal and toffee crisp (900 cals - sigh)
    D: quiche and salad (600)

    Currently 13st 3lb

Off to read rest of thread now!

Haven't been on for a few days as I have been trying to get some early nights. Today I had:

    B. Muesli and semi-skimmed milk
    S. Grapes
    L. Banana sandwich
    S. Slice of chocolate cake, marshmellow mushroom and half a shoe lace - oh dear
    L. Cous cous, lettuce, cottage cheese and pineapple and roast pork.
    S. Apple, orange and plum.

Exercise: Walked 5 miles, swam 25 minutes, exercise bike 38 mins, treadmill 35 minutes, weights and abdominal exercises.
    I'm off to bed. Goodnight.
  • Good morning all
Not a good week, I'm still 11st 7lb. Not a great weight maybe but at just 5 foot it puts me in the obese catagory and a size 16-18. I have a large spare tyre which is very uncomfortable. My eating and meal planning are all to pot. I had salad stuff in the fridge but it decided to turn into a freezer and so I had to chuck it. Just had a tomato sarnie for dinner yesterday. Not sure what to do today or who will be home for meals.

Well done marion on your 6lb loss - amazing.
