Welcome INAPICKLE and well done Vixtress. Had a bad day today. I've pigged on junk. My daughter bought 2 large bags of Dorritos and croissants to share, plus I've had fatty value bacon fried, chocolate and a glass of wine. So not good. Exercise wise I've walked 3 and two-thirds of mile, ran two thirds of a mile, 2 hours on the stepper and 5 repeats of running up and down the stairs (that was harder than all the running).

    Hi all, I'm back!

Been really nusy in work getting sorted before I went away to Sweden for a few days for a break. Absolutely beutiful country and the food was great, plenty of fresh seafood and salads but lots of nice beers, wines and Daim bar ice creams too ha ha
I haven't been on the scales yet and don't intend to until I am back in the swing of things as it will just push me to binge so I will stick with my usual plans for a while then see how I go.
My new target is to lose a stone by the end of October, its going to be hard as I really seem to struggle to get below 11st 10 but ideally I want to be 11st. Here goes :D

Today is a use-up day to get rid of stuff that has been lingering from various visits

    B: 2 white toast and butter (I know I know :o)

L: Probably nothing as breakfast was late

D: Roast chicken with sweet potato mash and lots of veggies and a drop of gravy

Planning on spending the rest of the day making beetroot chutney with the stuff off FIL's allotment. Was tempted to make beetroot brownies but that is far too self-destructive :rotfl:

Rachel, you are doing a brilliant job with all the exercise, everyones allowed a diet 'off day' every now and again.

    today has been:
-crusty roll with egg and bacon (first coked breakfast ive had formonths)
-2 slices tiger bread and butter :o
-bbq very healthy hm chicken and veg kebabs :A 1/2 a not so healthy -bratwurst and a heap of hm low fat colslaw. loads of bbq pineapple
    -a couple of squares of G & B chocolate
might have a pick at somthing a bit later as we had lunch/dinner at 3pm

Hi everyone:hello: sorry I didn't post yesterday started 2 posts but computer randomly deleted them before I got chance to submit them so gave up in a strop!!
I have had a very active and busy weekend but done well diet and exercise wise!
Yesterday I went to help set off my schools D of E expedition so DH, DS and I went hiking up Ilkley moor with a load of much younger and fitter D of E students, we did alot of climbing and I was very tired and stiff by the time we got to wave them bye bye and go to the pub for lunch 3 hours later! Poor DH carried DS most of the way in a backpack! rather him than me! but he got his own back today as we have been for a 7 mile bike ride to another pub for lunch and I had DS this time on his seat on my bike! That extra 2 and 1/2 stone really does make a difference!
Needless to say I am shattered and very stiff, will probably not be able to walk tomorrow never mind sit down!!
Food wise I have done well despite 2 pub lunches, yesterday I ate chicken salad but treated myself to a few chips and a bite of garlic bread! Today it was carvery and I knew I had a long ride back so managed not to stuff my face! Just 2 slices of meat and lots of veggies!
All in all a great weekend exercise and food wise, I have really been spurred on by my good news at the hospital!

    Kath x
