  • I can vouch for the Slimming World menus! I eat loads more than I ever used to eat and am never hungry - regular weight loss too!

This seems like a rather silly question, but can you really eat unlimited amounts of some of the foods? I don't eat particularly large portions but the thing that puts me off dieting so much is the thought of facing tiny portions!

Not doing so well today :(

My stomach has been a bit off so the thought of fruit and veg is making me retch. Trying to get back on track though even though I will be baking a seville orange curd tart later today for a party tomorrow. Hope it works!

B: 3 wholemeal toast (no butter) with HM marmalade

L: Wholemeal baguette with feta cheese and mango salsa

D: No idea, probably something small

S: Bag of salt and vinegar crisps

Have a great weekend all, going to try and do 7 miles tomorrow on my mountain bike through the forest to burn off some cals ;)

Yes you can eat unlimited amounts of free foods. These include rice, potatoes, pasta, meat, fish, vegetables and fruit. It is the processed foods and ready meals, bread products and sugary foods that are very limited and contain syns. Saying that on the Extra Easy plan you get a bread choice and a dairy choice daily plus all the free foods I listed above. If you choose not to go Extra Easy you can go Red or Green (this is all explained on their web site) - and this would allow 2 bread/cereal choices plus 2 dairy choices daily.

    Good Luck

    afternoon all!

Floyd - hope you soon feel better

not a good day so far - just cant seem to stop eating:mad: have been up since 5am and helped DH on his milkround but it gave me a huge appetite.

B - 2 WW bread toasted with marmalade

S - walkers baked crisps - go ahead yoghurt crisp bar

L - toasted cheese and onion sandwich with salad, mini mars bar.

D - need it to be healthy so will make a veggie bolognaise with pasta.

    will also have a yoghurt.

I feel really greedy but I have just needed to eat today - maybe it was the early start - lunch was over 6 hours after breakfast and even with the snack I was starving and I'd run out of bananas.
    Do what you love :happyhear

eating for next 2 days could be bad, i know theres a chinese meal out planned for sunday. but hey, its only 2 days

    today has been,
    small bowl muesili,
2/3 of a prawn, mayo baggette & a hm rasberry muffin
smallish bowl hm, veg and mung bean curry, 1 1/2 chappatis

snacks have been: bag raisins, 2 squares of chocolate, g&t (slimline tonic)
think thats it, i do feel to have eaten more than that though

have a good weekend, tomorrow will be tough, 4 hr drive on my own, must resist the mcdonalds etc :o

  • Hi all, now I have a week to lose 27 lb for that wedding...:rotfl::rotfl:

Considering eating fish ( have been veggie for 26 years) as apparently protein in fish reduces appetite.

Will you carnivores try it for me, please and tell me if it works???
