Hi all. Just joined the forums a few days ago and first time posting in this thread. I have about a stone to lose so here goes!
I'm usually not too bad with exercising (training for my first 10K run) but when it comes to my diet I'm a total nightmare! I have such a sweet tooth and can rarely resist sweets and cakes etcAnyway, I'm hoping that by posting regularly in this thread I might become more accountable for what i eat and hopefully lose a bit of weight. My food plan for today should heopfully be:
B: Porridge (made with water) with half an apple and honey
L: Chicken salad and a portion of natural yoghurt with dried fruit+linseedsHM veg + lentil soup (and maybe a small chicken salad too, soup never seems to fill me up unless I eat half a loaf of bread with it )
Snacks: A pear and a couple of coffees (no sugar)
Exercise: 4K run
Wish me luck!!0 -

Hello
Well done on the 2lb Loss Marion and newlywed, welcome miss_cupcake.
Not doing so well at the moment, only did 1600 steps yesterday and have only done 5K today.
Diner today was supposed to be salad but ended up being just new potatoes sping onions and tomates covered in mayo. DS put sausages in the oven but I couldn't face them. DD baked some cookies and I did some rock cakes so delish but so bad for the waistline.
Ah well, tomorrow is another day as my mother always said.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb
11st 5lb as at 20.04.09 11st 7lbs 040509 11st6 010609 I wish 2016 175 lbs.

Morning everyone!
Marion - hope you enjoy the linedancing!
Am off to work for a long 11 hour shift today. Need to think about food to take.
B - muesli
S - banana
L - mackerel, salad and a small slice toast
S - grapes
D - its meat pie on the menu at work(dont eat meat) so will pop in the shops on my way for some inspiration.
will also have a yoghurt.
Have a good day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Thanks for the welcome all
So yesterday I was doing OK until about an hour after dinner when I got that annoying "lets raid the kitchen for anything that's remotely sweet" urge. I ended up eating a HM carrot cake cupcake followed later by a small bowl of fresh pineapple. It's frustrating that I can do so well during the day then ruin it all with a few after-dinner cravings! I must admit though, the carrot cake was delicious  Today's plan...
B: Scrambled egg - no toast (Boyfriend got up early to make these before work, mmm)
L: Rubber chicken salad (I roasted it on Sunday evening and it's still going!) and also a portion of natural yoghurt and a plumHM veg + lentil soup with a wm pitta
Snacks: Really trying to cut down on these so might try a low fat hot choc drink after dinner. Really need to increase water intake too, hardly a great 'snack' though!!0 -

Thanks taplady, I really enjoyed it. It was the first time I went and they start the instruction at a nice slow pace, then we all walk through it about 5 times. Then they put the music on and all of a sudden you are doing it 10 times faster!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It was a lot of fun though and I was huffing and puffing so got a good aerobic workout, only about 1000 steps though. I am going again on Thursday and hopefully twice a week from now on. It only costs £3.00 a session which is within my budget:T

You are doing fine, don't worry. The pineapple is good for you and even having one cupcake in an otherwise good diet day is not going to do you any harm. A little bit of what you fancy helps you stay on the diet!
