:hello: Hello everyone, this looks like a very friendly happy smiley place to be!:hello:
I have a few kg I would like to shift as it never goes anywhere but at least not that much goes on (a little bit over Christmas)
My weight is approx 76kg (will get weighed next week for free as no scales). This is the amount from a couple of weeks ago so might have gone up a bit since then!
EEKK!! have just converted this into st and lbs and is 11st 13.5lb, lets call it 12 st then!!!!
 I'd like to get to 10st 7lb, oh no that's 1 1/2st to go!
I would like to join as my weight doesn't move that much and I would like to fit a bit better into some of my clothes as I'm doing the spend no more than a £100 on clothes this year and already only have £79 left for the rest of the year!
I enjoy cooking and take HM soup for my lunch at work, since discovering the OS way I've stopped the ready meal habit and I've signed up for the grocery challenge and I'm meal planning at the moment to help focus a bit!I eat fruit at work but not often at home over the weekends.
My downfalls are too much wine over Christmas and at weekends and then snacking on crisps and choccies. A cappacinno or hot choccie in Costa or M+S at the weekend also but not often a cake or a bun as I'm wheat intolerant (of course I have found ways around this with snacks!)
Hmm that doesn't sound too great now I've written it down! Looks like I know what to stop now!
Any tips anyone has greatly appreciated!

Hello all newbies. Sorry to hear about RS.
Well my few lbs put on seem to have now increased to erm ... well... 10 lbs. So time to start again from today.
I refuse to buy clothes in yet another size (cleared out my wardrobe when I'd stayed the same weight for 6 months and bought all new clothes).
Need to sort out my 5 a day too, as that has slipped somewhat
So:
Breakkie - Oats soaked in water with syrup and nana (need to cut down the syrup though).
Lunch - HM minestrone soup (made with lots of low fat bacon) and a small roll
Tea - Mackerel/Kippers (kippers for me) with lots of veg
Snacks - go ahead bar thingie and NO BISCUITS and NO CAKE!!!
Making butternut squash soup tonight for this week's lunches.
Did I miss the cheats soup recipe? Can someone point me in the direction please?

I'm the same. The only water I drink regularly is in a cuppa tea- unless it's a hot summer
I must make a conscious effort to drink more water as it's good for your skin and your digestive system also.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Welldone Marion - 4.5lb in a week is great!! what is extra easy pls???
I'm in with you guys, tried a few months ago and then lost it again - motivation not the weight unfortunately!!
I weighed myself on friday and came in at 13stone 8lb - so have gained 4lbs or so in the holidays - great!! Ideally i need to lose 3stone - which is 42lb - whcih is a lot!!
Ive tried to break it down into doable targets for myself so looking at 2lb a week, which takes me to the end of May, which would be great. I'm gonna do some excercise on the wii fit, some skipping and may even get out the old orbitrek and with healthier eating will hopefully lose at least 2lb a week. As the weather gets better we'll start walkig to school too which is a 20minute walk.
DH gonna join in with the healthier eating, as are the kids. Have told him we'llbe eating brown bread only, lots of grilled chicken and fish and a lot less chips and chocolate!
here goes everyone, good luck!0 -
oooh, forgot to add that Paul McKenna "i will make you thin" is on today
Sky 3 at 1pm and on living at 8pm (+1 at 9pm)
My sis did this last year and lost a couple of stone just by thinking about what she was eating before she ate it..... gonna watch this seriesand try to use it for myself too xx0 -
Well as expected I over did it during the Christmas break. Not quite sure what the extent of the damage is since I've not been able to bring myself to get the measuring tape out yet! But the trousers are definitely a bit more snug than they were pre-christmas. I forgot how quickly a lot of alcohol can make you pile on the weight! And I'm sure all the chocs didn't help either!
But anyway it's ncie to be back to a sensible diet and will be back to karate training on Thursday which I have really missed over the break!0 -
Hi all,
Back to work and its not quite as much of a shock to the system as I had expected, mind you its not that busy yet!
So today is my first proper 'diet day' in a while where I am weighing things and counting up properly and to be fair I feel OK so far
B: Porridge with skimmed milk and honey
L: Wensleydale and chutney on wholemeal bread (thin slices of cheese)HM Spaghetti matriciana (wholemeal pasta) with a big salad
S: Small skinny cappuccino
Tomorrow will be much more hectic so we'll see0
