Morning all!
Just had a delicious breakfast of linzi's granola - a low GI cereal full of nuts and seeds. Probably calorific but I don't care as it is full of good stuff and yum to boot.
Main target for the day is to get out for a walk and get the 5 portions of fruit and veg. Have also persuaded OH to weigh himself at the Boots machine! I think he is in for an awful shock poor love.
Vague food plan:
Breakfast: granola with nuts and seeds (1) banana (1)
Lunch: fish pie with peas and carrots (1)
Dinner: spanish omelette and salad (1)
Snacks: satsuma, melon, grapes (2)2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
Good Morning Everyone! Here is my plan for today.
I am doing SW extra easy
Breakfast - Bram Flakes with blueberries + 1 apple (heb, free)
Lunch - HM celery soup + 2 satsumas (free)
Dinner - Pasta bake with chopped vegetables and ham plus mozzarella cheese (free, free, hea) We have friends coming for dinner so will slice up some turkish bread and make garlic toast with it, will weigh my portion and syn accordingly!:T Probably won't serve a pudding - is that too weird do you think - I don't have company over very often! It will be a casual occasion.
Have a good day everyone!
Marion
ps - I was going to make meatballs with the pasta bake but digging through the freezer couldn't find any. "Have to go to the shops and get some", I thought - then remembered that I am on a store cupboard challenge. Put my purse away and decided to use up some left over ham chopped up into the pasta. I'm sure it will be fine:D:jWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Morning all,
Just had a lovely lazy breakfast made by OH, not much planned other than enjoying my last 2 days off before I am back to the grind again
B/L: 2 Boiled eggs and 3 slices wholemeal toast (because its brunch I have more than usual otherwise it would be 1 egg and 2 slices)HM Singapore chow mein
S: Either HM rice pudding or a small piece of Christmas cake
Hoping that being back in work will be the structure I need to get back on the wagon 100% with soup lunches and proper breakfasts0 -
Morning all,
Just had ham sandwich and cappuccino for breakfast, meeting a friend for lunch later on so that will not be exactly calorie saving either! Have decided that there is little point driving myself nuts until the Australian contingent have gone home in early February...only problem is that I need to fit into the dress for next Saturday's wedding and not sure that I do!
Have heard from Frogga, she is fine, an uncle died over Christmas so things were a little disorganised. She did have the sad news that RS was taken into hospital yesterday...have asked her to keep us up to date. RS...if you are reading this, hugs and get well soon

Hi
Got up too late for brekki just a couple of cups of coffee. Had jacket spud and LO bolognaise for lunch. Dinner will be use up of whatever veg I can find and turn into salad along with a brie bought back in Nov so needs to be eaten. No walking yesterday so must get a good number of steps in today. Have some kiwi fruit to use up, had it yesterday with apple and cream (single being used up from xmas.) Thought it tasted a bit sharp so was wondering if I add it to some stewed apples it would sweeten with cooking? Cream gone so will have this with nat yog.
Sorry to hear RS is unwell. Hugs to you and hope you get better soon.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

Hiya :hello: , I'm back. Thought you'd got rid of me, but nnnnooo I'm still here!!!!!
In desperate need of a bit of support from you great peeps. Have managed to put on 12lbs in the past few months and this has got to stop   . As I haven't yet changed my signature, just deduct this from my total lost while I slink off into a corner and cringe.
Anyway, she says bouncing back from said corner, I've just had a bath to wash away the over indulgences (mentally speaking) and feeling bright eyed and bushy tailed. DD and her dog have arranged to come for a good long walkies later so that will help. Also I really fancy making a big batch of lental and carrot soup later, yum.
Only one slightly dried out looking piece of Christmas cake left in the house as we've been on a mission to eat anything remotely tempting remaining after Christmas. DH and DS both want to get eating healthy now as DD's wedding only 9months away and neither fancies hiring tents for the big day instead of buying suits. Talking of which I got myself a lovely suit in a sale, slightly tight at present but ideal once the weight is shifted, so that's me sorted apart from a top to go under. Please note the positive attitude(I'm going to do it, yes I am, no going back to old unhealthy ways, think of all the lovely new clothes you've got, how much more energy, the compliments) . Right that should keep me going for an hour or two  .
Sorry to waffle on so but I felt the need to write it all down and make it a positive action plan. Not posting on here and look what happened, I slid backwards - you stupid woman - no that's not positive - get back up and climb back up the hill of health to admire the wonderful view. Yes that's more like it. Barking mad and proud :rotfl: .
Hope you all have a good healthy day folks. Good to be back. Suz"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. Get well soon RS x
I've managed to put on 12lb just over christmas suzid so you're in good company.
Managed to eat lots of healthy things yesterday and got out for a walk along the seafront. But unfortunately got sabotaged by the seafront chip shop, so that !!!!!!ed up the plan for the day really.
Today I will go for a longer walk, along a route that doesn't go past any wonderful chip smells.
Breakfast: small glass OJ, bowl of granola with nuts n seeds, satsuma (2-3f&v?)
Lunch: salad with roast veg, banana (2)
Dinner: hm chickpea and butternut squash curry with quinoa and rice (1)
snack: melon and grapes (1)
Does anyone have any delish low-fat salad dressing ideas? I have yoghurt and lemons in the fridge so that should provide a good start, and orange juice and garlic. No fresh herbs but a few dried. Just don't want to waste food by mucking about with my own efforts and making something horrid.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
jojob, do you have any dried tarragon? Lemon and tarragon goes well for a salad dressing.Weight loss to date - 8st 13lbs :j0
