Good morning everyone, another glorious day! I get weighed tomorrow morning and already I am getting preweigh jitters! I wonder if I will ever be casual about stepping on a set of scales?
Today I am having:
B - banana with yogurt and a handful of grapes
s - hot scan bran with blackberries and yogurt
L - everything but the kitchen sink salad with low fat dressing
D - chicken and rice with vegetables
Love

Good morning
A lovely suuny day here, will be off soon to Bicester village retail outlet, might even find something to buy.
I have a new pedometer and yesterday I walked 10,841 steps, will try and do more walking today, I am usually surprised at how few steps get done when shopping so will make an extra effort.
Unsure what I'll be eating today as travelling on to visit mother once have shopped and don't know what time I'll be home, (she lives nearly 2 hours dirve away.) Have had cornflakes for bfast and will take bottle of water with me and some fruit. Have a good day everyone.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

.
Well done on the walking! I have only managed to get over 7000 once, most days I am in the mid 6000's. I am a fairly slow walker though and find that this takes me at least a couple of hours a day - so perhaps I should work on my speed, which would then logically increase the number of steps in the same time frame!
Ooh, all that thinking is hurting my head - off to the park now!

Hi Retiredlady
I usually struggle to walk more than 2-3000 steps a day, have to really plan a longer walk, yesterday I went shopping with a friend and we walked in rather than drive or take a bus. You're right about the speed, but it's hard in this hot weather.
Enjoy the park.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

Good Morning All
It`s another lovely day here. :j
Sorry that I`ve been missing for a few days, I`ve been trying to keep my computer time to a minimum and to keep moving instead. Hopefully it will help burn the extra calories I`ve been eating the last few days.
Will catch up with the reading later and see how everyones been doing.
Off to log my calories now and then to tidy house before DD and DGS arrive for dinner.
Have a great day everyone.0 -
Are there any of you who weigh as much as that but don't really look it? Alot of people would think 12 st is still very overweight, but at 12 stone I'm a slim size 12. Honest! I'm 5ft 5 1/2 in. Be interesting to know.
Hello Frogga, I'm just reading through as I'm joining this thread as of tomorrow morning and this did make me smile. I am 5ft 5 and people are always amazed at how much I weigh. At 12 stone I too look 'slim' - pre pregnancy I was a size 16 at that weight and happy. All my life people have 'guesstimated' my weight to be a least a couple of stone less than it is. I wonder if that's cos the weight is dangerously around my organs etc, rather than being on the 'exterior' visible to all...
Nine years on from having my son, I am 6 stone heavier, and need to shift it for health's sake. I have no urge to be 9 st ever but to look 'normal' and be able to walk upstairs without being really out of breath is my inspiration.
See you all tomorrow!!2025 - Declutter to Move House

hello everyone, I've been hiding myself away for a couple of weeks now, just one bad day after another then I think I've got back on track but just blow it all again!:o
Tomorrow is weigh day and I don't even want to step on the scales but feel I have to just to give myself a kick though I know next week is going to be bad as I have a couple of girls night planned (dinner and drinks) which is a near certain weight gain then!
I'm off work this week now so hoping the good weather continues and I can get some serious exercise done to try and compensate for what I will eat.
Mum says I can borrow her bike.....that should be fun!!!:rotfl:
Hope you are all well and as usual big congrats :T to any losers and pats on the shoulders to anyone struggling (like me!)0 -
Hugs Beccam, Congrats Frogga and Welcome Kayjay!
Hi to everyone else!:hello:
I definately think there is something to this weighing more than you would think, my DH consistenly weighs about 1 stone heavier than my dad who is the same height and carries alot more weight. He thinks he has heavy bones!
I have had a pretty good day today food wise
B Yoghurt and banana
L 1 low fat sausage ( yes I know not much but had early dinner at a party and wasn't sure what food would be available so saved calories just incase only fattening food)
D Various party nibbles, prawn roll, brie and cranberry parcel, cheese scone, salad, 2 glasses of sparkling wine.
Been active all day but no extra exercise as bad neck from doing yoga badly yesterday!0 -
Hi guys and gals
I'm still here and hanging in there, been really busy hence my lack of posting and although I haven't been as religious with counting and weighing everything I have been much more active so I hope it will balance out
B: Nothing, went straight out
L: Ciabatta roll with mozarella, pesto and vine tomatoesChicken zorba in wholemeal pitta with a little rice and fresh tomato, cucumber, lime and mint salsa
S: HM bara brith
On Saturday I spent all day lifting and carrying stuff up and down stairs as I was clearing an attic and taking everything to the tip. Today I did 7 miles mountain biking (mix of uphill and down on rough track) so I have doen alot more than usual and feel a bit achy now
Well done all and welcome to the new folk0
