Good morning all!
Yesterday went ok although my meal planned changed as realised I had no veg in the house:rolleyes:. Cue a visit to Sainsbugs. All now stocked up so todays menu is:
B : Scrambled egg and beans
L: Baked potato with home -made ratatouilleOven baked vege risotto (out of a magazine so hoping it turns out ok!)
Snacks: Banana, Apple, Strawberries
Did anyone see that programme on BBC1 last night about dieting? Only caught half of it so watching later on i-player. They came up with some good points.
Have good days everyone!

Glad everyone is on track to their goals!
I see other people have Lidl Muesli. Isn't it terribly calorific? I had a big bowl for breakfast and thought it might be a no no as I was eating it! I had a cheese and egg salad with tomatoes, cucumber, radishes, spring onion, apple. I made my won dressing with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, mustard and honey. I had a low fat yoghourt for dessert. Tonight was going to be a pot roast but I forgot to put it on, so it will be plaice in breadcrumbs and broccoli, carrots and new potatoes.
Well I am off for my second walk of the day, Toby and Socks are raring to go!0 -
Afternoon everyone, welcome to any newbies I've missed the past few days! :hello:

Thanks Miss P. I didn't know about this. I've just watched it on i-player & think it'll certainly help me. Lots of common sense & some things I already do but a couple of things I had no idea about, for example that soup keeps you fuller longer than eating the same food in solid form. Amazing!! I guess I'll be making soup for my work lunches next week.0 -
Ok my weigh in was today and put half on, not surprised after Saturday and being a bank holiday 3 of my classes were not on so will take that on the chin.
However food wise today has been
Healthy extra bar
Banana
Cheese salad sandwich
boiled potatoes, peas, fish in breadcrumbs
banana
muller light and cherries and strawberries
Oh and back to back classes at the gym tonight meaning 2 hours of bodyjam and combat!Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0 -
Oh dear, all you energetic people are making me feel guilty
Weighed myself on one of those Boots scales to-day and it says that I am 14st 12lbs...usually weigh naked but thought that might be just too much for shopping centre to handle!

L.....Two tablespoons of hm hummous, 2 sm slices bread....had to try it didn't I??

Morning all:D
Yesterday went quite well. Getting hunger pangs but always do for the first few days. I know I'm eating plenty and not depriving myself though so thats good.
So today:
B: Scrambled egg and beans
L: Soup, one slice of bread, bananaPiece of chicken, salad, jacket potato and coleslaw
Snacks: Strawberries, ritz with low fat soft cheese and cherry toms
Still not getting up to my two litres of fluid a day so will try harder today...cue lots of trips to the loo!:rotfl:
Off to Iceland today to stock up. Normally I grab whatever looks nice but guess I'll have to look a bit closer at labels today!!
Exercise is something else I'm going to have to think about. Don't do ANY at the moment so will have to get started!
