Hi
I'm still 11st 7lb, have been snacking for England. I feel either famished or stuffed, no happy medium. Have increased my water intake and still trying to make my 5 a day but think only just managing 3/4 at the moment. Had two very long walks over the weekend and am off work this week so will try and get in another couple. Also want to try and make the pool for a swim.
Hugs to newlywed. Hello Miss Piggy:hello: Well done imataloss.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

Im 10st 4 and want to lose a stone. I have so many lovely clothes that i just dont feel comfortable wearing. Ive been tracking my food intake on foodfocus and am eating 1200 calories a day but still not loosing weight, i seem to be putting it on.
I am disabled so exercise is difficult but i can manage light exercise so im going to stick to that.
Have all of you lost weight using a slimming club or has anyone lost weight by just being on here.

:hello: hi magical and welcome, there are a lot of us on here that dont follow a specific plan or club, just eat less and (where possible) move more is the general idea.
i find the board as good as, if not better than a 'proper' club. there are people from all walks of life with different goals and achievments and its here 24/7......omg i sound like an advert :rotfl:
not a bad day today had
muesili
egg, salad sandwhich and a few stolen chips (avoided getting my own though)
reduced fat chicken and mixed bean korma, rice and 2 poppadoms
apple, and 2 green and blacks mini-eggs
was fairly active at the park for a few hours but am definately feeling the effects of yesterdays mountain biking
last day off tomorrow, big asda shop has come so need to get my menu planning head on

Hi magical
I have lost 2 stone in a year just by coming on here regularly and cutting down the amount I eat, cooking from scratch and only having treats occasionally. I use The Daily Plate website to keep track of what I eat as it forces me to think about just how much muesli I pour into the bowl and just how much more than a portion that extra handful of rice thrown into the pan adds up over the course of a week
Good luck and hopefully you will find the support you need here, we're a friendly lot really0 -

Morning all
Well it all kicks off today. Crept onto the scales (hoping the figure I saw there yesterday was a mistake.......it wasn't unfortunately :rotfl:).
So I'm aiming to lose 60 pounds. Will put it in my signature so I can keep track of it. Will weigh myself on Wednesdays.
Off to Sainsbugs today to stock up of veg and fruit. Not a big fruit eater but I really do love my veg.
Menu plan for today:
Breakfast: One slice of bread and one scrambled egg
Lunch: Small jacket potato with lime Tuna
Dinner: Vege Pilaff
Snacks: Banana, Cream crackers with light soft cheese and cherry toms
Drinks : Will TRY and limit the coffee. Trying to drink 2 litres of fluid a day - squash etc.
Have good days everyone - wish me luck!
Miss P
