Good luck Miss Piggy! You can do it - just one day at a time!

Yesterday was a good day for me - no slip ups apart from a couple of bonbons.

Today I'm trying to be good again....

B - cereal (milk to dog)
L - leftover veggie curry and rice, apple
D - jacket spud, cheese and beans
    S - satsumas

    E - walk dog for >60mins

I've decided that we go away to Cornwall for a week in 6 weeks time and that I'm setting myself a little mini target for this. I AM GOING TO LOSE 5lbs by the time we go! This doesn't sound too much in 6 weeks but I have to go to the US on Saturday for 6 days and they don't believe in vegetarians for a start and also healthy eating! So I am going to try my best whilst I'm there but not expect too much. The hotel does have a fitness centre so I'll have to get my ar*e in gear and do something to try to counteract the lard!

My plan is also to give up booze for a month - I did this in January and felt much better and found it easier with both food and and motivation in general.

There's a glass-worth of rose wine in the fridge that I'll have tonight - not throwing it away! - while OH watches the footie with his mates and then that's it!

    Wish me luck!

Gee it's hard losing weight when you enjoy your food! There are two types of folk in this world: those who eat to live and those who live to eat! If you are the latter like me it's an uphill struggle!
I am 15 stone and 5' 4" - so I must lose weight! Also I am 63, so no young chick! I have two active dogs and my exercise is walking them twice a day in all weathers! I am going to read all your tips and see if I can lose some weight! All help will be gratefully received!
Today I had 2 slices of toast with scrape of butter and apricot jam. Smoked bacon sandwich with grilled tomato. Banana and small amount of vanilla ice cream. Left over chicken with pasta, homemade cheese sauce with mushrooms and bits of onion, leek and red pepper.

Good morning everyone and welcome to sibyll 15!

The sun is shining at last, doesn't that just make everything seem better. I found yesterday difficult and felt very very hungry all day. I did however manage to stick to my food plan except for that tub of mini oreo's which mysteriously disappeared when I was sitting next to them.:o:o

I couldn't do much walking yesterday as I am now getting a pain under my left foot when I walk - sort of feels like there is a small marble inside my shoe just about the middle of my heel - hurts like the devil. I except its a tendon of some sort that is complaining about being discovered!:p Anyway a days rest might have helped it a little so yesterday I only did 3015 steps. Actually when I went upstairs to bed and checked my pedometer it only read 2986 so I marched up and down the landing and in and out of our bedroom untill it went over the 3000:o:o:rotfl: Am I mad or what - the dog liked it though!

Oops this is turning into one of my essays - here is my eating plan for the day:

B - cereal with strawberries and yogurt
    s - banana
L - roasted peppers and cous cous salad
    s - scan bran cake
D - lamb chops with baked potato and cauliflower.

    Love

    morning!

Marion - I'd see your doc about your foot as I think its a specific medical condition - my friend had it and needed special inserts into her shoes - she said exactly the same about feeling like walking on marbles.

I managed to put half a pound on last week - too much nibbling between meals - I just cant seem to stop it:mad:

    Back to it today

    B - muesli

L - not got a clue yet

D - quorn chilli and rice

snacks - banana, apple, yoghurt, cereal bar

hope you all have a good day x

Morning. Sunnier day here today so hopefully the eating will be better :o

There was an apple danish that just leapt out at me from the bakery yesterday :o But I didn't have any biccies in the evening :o

    So today's plan:

b: potato farl with small piece of smoked salmon and two poached eggs
l: no idea :o couldn't be bothered to make anything - very much in a can't be bothered mood lately :(
d: chicken breasts with pesto and wrapped in bacon, with some veg or other.

Marion - I do that too, just walk round the flat till the right number of steps clocks up - or dance in the kitchen ;)
