Good Morning All
I`ve weighed in at the gym today and am pleased to say that I`ve lost 3lbs this week.
I haven`t been posting my meals on here but think that it`s a good idea.
I`m off to start work now. Will be back later to see how everyone else is doing.
Have a good day everyone.

wow, thats fantastic, well done :T
i seem to have hit a bit of a brick wall at th mo, i was 12.9lb 3 weeks ago and seem to be fluctuating between that and 12.11. i cant seem to get it to shift downwards. i think my biggest problem is that i have got into a really hard to break habbit of weighing myself every morning  its not good, i know but i cant seem to help myself..........i must stop it !
not sure about food today, i have a huge online shop coming tonight so today will start with muesili but beyond that i'm not sure.
am aching from yesterdays mountain biking, t was good fun though! I have been off work for a few days so have been more active for so thats good, thedaft thing is that i seem to 'reward' myself with nice food when i've done a lot.......how stupid is that! defeats the object rather
hope you all have a fab day, ive got today and tomorrow off work still which is nice!
i have friends coming for lunch at the weekend, any suggestions for a simple, diet friendly menu that looks good?
thanks, vicky x- prior planning prevents poor performance!

Hi all,
Been missing for a while...
my dad died suddenly
So eating has been a bit screwy, exercise has been not much as I've just felt so tired. And this weekend has involved wine and lots of chocolate
but the funeral is done now.
so need to get back on track... was still a STS last week - goodness knows how but I doubt this week would be - I've not weighed.
Food today:
b: potato farls with two poached eggs
l: wholemeal chicken sarnie
d: salmon and vegworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Thank you Kedger - yes I am doing the EE plan on SW but I think I need to confess that I am definately taking the scenic path on my weight loss journey. I do love EE and although I don't lose weight very quickly (because I cheat a lot:p) I know that eventually I will get down to a weight that I feel comfortable with. For me that means not always being the fattest person in the room, shop, bus, train etc.:o
Coca cola chicken is great and very easy to make. I think I read about it on this site somewhere but not sure. I make enough for a family of 4 adults and each portion is 3 syns but the portions are very large!
Take as many skinless chicken thighs as you want to use (I normally do about 10) and put them in the bottom on a thickish frying pan. Pour over 1 tin of coca cola - NOT DIET - this is where your syns are but you need the sugar in the coke for this recipe. Then add 1/4 cup of soya sauce and bring to the boil. I often throw in some chopped onions and peppers too but that is optional. When the mixture comes to a boil turn the heat down to a slow simmer and turn the chicken pieces a few times. As it cooks the coke will reduce and become thick and coat the chicken and veg in a delicious sauce. When it is done to - easily within half an hour serve it on a huge pile of rice and enjoy! Sometimes just before serving I had chopped pineapple pieces to sort of give that sweet and sour effect.
It sounds weird but I promise you it really is nice!
Well done on your weight loss - good isn't it?
Love

Newlywed (((HUGS)))
Imataloss well done 3 lbs in a week is great going!
Been swimming this morning but too busy playing with DS to do too much myself, only about 15 minutes but better than nothing.
B Porridge
L Ham salad sarnie and some fresh pineapple
D HM beef burger and jacket pot and salad
Vixtress, I am another naughty weigh myself every day girl but I have managed to get myself in a mindset where I am encouraged if my weight has gone down but don't mind if it hasn't or even if it has gone up. Months of doing this have shown me that my water levels fluctuate greatly during the day and month. So I weigh first thing in the morning (which is my lightest) and write it down. I can then check back over weeks and work out how much I have actually lost over more sensible longer time periods eg 2 weeks normally! I also find it very amusing when I lose 2lb in one day!! ofcourse I don't then lose anything for the next week but for one glorious day I feel fab!!!0 -
Afternoon all!
Hope no-one minds me joining this thread?
I've got quite a bit of weight to lose and find I have no willpower whatsoever unless I have someone to "talk" to about it !:rotfl:
Money is tight so am very interested in losing weight using old-style methods. Just don't have the money for WW, SW or on-line clubs!
Weighing tomorrow morning and then am going for it all guns blazing! Tonight will catch up on this thread and nick some ideas from you lot!

OOHHH Thats sounds wonderfull, will probably try that tomorrow as its WI and i tend to have meals that are not red/green IE,meat curry and rice, meat spagbol and pasta etc etc,as i dont do EE,cant handle having just 2 HE'S!!!
thanks again, will let u know how it goes xx
I have heard a few people say that - but I think of it as getting loads of extra HEB's - I normally used to do mainly red days but now I can have unlimited pasta, potatoes, peas, corn, parsnip with my meat and don't have to count them as HEB - which means I still have cereal for breakfast and syn it and then use my B for bread. Or if you make my breakfast rice (cooked pudding rice mixed with muller light and fresh fruit) you don't even have to syn that and it would be free on EE.
Good Luck
