S. 2 bags of apple crisp.
L. Ham and cucumber sandwich
S. 2 bananas and apples, 1 banana

Welcome bluetimone97 and Jollymummy :hello:
*Hugs* grateful
Did around 4000 steps with the pedometer today but didn't have it on all day, I went cycling and used the phone to map my progress, I did a 4.8 mile trip one way along the canal towpath here and then back again, (though i'm rounding it up to 5 miles each way) took me almost two hours with a fair few stops. Also did two workouts on a new wii game EA sports active which is really fun, about 250 calories done there so I'll sleep well tonight!
Food has been:
Breakfast - Muesli with low fat yogurt
Snack - Banana
Lunch - Some feta cheese parcely thing i made up with leftover pastry and salad
Snack - Dried apricots
Dinner - HM veggie burgers a few chips and some extra vegetables
Off for a nice long sleep now I hope, see you all later!Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time0 -

Hello Vix - nice to "see" you here!
You are going to hate me for saying this, but have you tried getting up an hour earlier than normal and doing your walk then? It will be very hard to do for the first few days but after that you will look forward to it - plus it will give you more energy for the rest of the day! (or so they tell me tee hee)
I worked my rather large butt off in the garden yesterday - and I did work very hard with cutting the hedge, weeding, lawn and potting stuff up. Didn't have time for a walk and when I checked my pedometer at the end of day I had only done 687 steps. So it really isn't all down to steps although I was shattered! Today I got up early and went off with Charlie and have already done 1956:D One day I will reach that magic 10,000 figure but I am not a very fast walker and it could take me all day:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!

Morning all
Think I may have got a little overambitious doing 7 miles off road mountain biking yesterday, I am aching today!
B: 3 wholemeal toast (no butter with HM marmalade)
L: Nothing, late brekkieHM chicken burritos with spanish rice and salad
S: 2 Ikea bitesize cinnamon rolls
Trying to stay on the wagon today even though I feel like eating lots of carp (TOTM)0 -
Morning all - yesterday was a bit of a write off due to MIL birthday meal and wine but never mind today is a new day! (Can you tell its nice and sunny here and I had plenty of sleep!!!)
I managed to scoff half a portion of brucshetta (sp!), about two thirds of a very thin veggie pizza and tarte tartin with 2 glasses of wine - MIL and SIL are both on SW too but had abandoned it for the day due to the birthday so I joined in too!
Today's food....
B - none - not hungry after giant scoff last night
L - Sunday lunch in the pub (no meat, just veggies and gravy and yorkshire pud)
D - probably just a sandwich/omelette
S - will try to resist OH's popcorn at the cinema
E - been to the park for 45 mins with dog already, will have to do another 30 min walk later and have just hoovered and dusted whole house (does that count?!)
Have a lovely bank holiday - see you tomorrow0 -
hello all, please can I join?
Please??
I have been dropped off at the "gym" by boyfriend (who trains 5x per week and is super dooper football player) and here i am in the uni library with my £1.55 costa coffee, hopign he doesnt ask how my workout was because i am a rubbish liar and will jsut start laughing....it is hard when you are going out with a non drinking, non smoking sex god and sometimes i jsut feel like a big blob next to him...
But is is going to change. like you jollymummy, i have been saying i will do it for ages, but now i am going to a wedding in october and i am a bridesmaid and it has got to be done!
IN A MONEYSAVING WAY...so back to the cheap local council gym membership £16 per month - if i go 4 times a week to pilates and yoga, and actually train!
here is my fat SOA, i will post my debt SOA but first things first - do you not think that when you put on a bit of weight, you go shopping to make self feel better, then feeel guilty so one starts to eat, and then you spend cos you feel rubbish>>>and it affects your relationship too
i was 25 and was a size 16. got down to an 8 and now i live with boyf 2 years later. am back up to a 14. this is because i started working a second job to pay of debts, so £1.50 in the snacks machine at the call centre at night, and 400 extra calories in prawn crisps and choc. also, since met boyfriend who i love so so much, he is so kind, and picks me up and drives me everywhere. before i used to walk to and from work an hour a day, so these missing walkign sessions are now noticable on my bottom....
but the good thing is, i barely drink cos go out with a non-drinker, so one glass of red wine is enough these days...
so im on it and i need your help. have said to bf - DETOX< no battenburgs, crisps, fizzy drinks, just nice food, chicken, fish, fresh fruit, veg and soups - it is allright for mr fitness to eat big platefuls but not for chunky chops here...
so making shopping lists for asda (to save money also) and menu planning so know exactly what we are having and how much we are spending. so far this is going good but losing motivation and gorgin on crisps and sweets...
so here it is..boots was doing a free trial on that weighing machine, so here are the details. and will re weigh in a month to see progress:
BMI 25.2 - want to get to 21
weight 11 st 12lb - 75.3 kgs - will get down to 63kg again
height - 5 ft 8 - 1.73m
BODY FAT - 27%!!!!!!!!!! will get down to good -excellent range which is 21% -26%
hope i am within the rules of posting, need your recipes, tips and money saving chat - ooh has anyone got that book "how to feed your family..." by gill halcombe - is helping my budget very much...
so have a great sunday and cant wait to hear from all of you! IM ON IT...
x0 -
Hi all
Can I join too please? I had a really bad shop changing room moment last week - if they want to sell any clothes you'd think they'd get some more flattering mirrors wouldn't you?:rotfl::rotfl:
Can anyone that's doing/ever done Slimming World tell me how many healthy extra's you can have per day. I though I might give their plan a go, but I do draw a line at some of their recipes. I'm kind of aiming to combine OS home cooked stuff with their veggie side. Not forgetting a bit of Paul McKenna and "Why French Women Don't Get Fat".I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.
