Well after posting last night I then hit the cupboard and had 2 (yes 2!) weightwatchers mini carrot cakes. :(:o They are (only!) 2 WW points each..not that I even count points or do WW but that seems quite good!

Today haven't been hungry really (not surprising after my early hours feast!)

    B~banana
L~Tesco light choices melba toast http://www.tesco.com/superstore/xpi/8/xpi51146208.htm with a small spread of light phillidelphia.
D~Oven chips, chicken goujons and spoonful of baked beans. (was in a hurry freezer food!):o

Exercise today was swimming with DD for an hour then a walk/run round the park this evening (slightly on edge run after hearing about the boy found dead in the park river on Tues:eek:)
Getting better at the running though as managed all but the very last run section on the podcast tonight which is my best yet.

Well done thriftlady and rachel :j

Yesterday was going well in that I didn't stuff myself with cake :D but then at 9.30pm OH came home with a bottle of vodka . Considering last saturday's bottle of vodka made us both very ill and we are still recovering from that and flu and trying to lose weight I thought it a pretty stupid move. Still had 2 or 3 large ones though. DD didn't sleep well, and i still feel ill so am getting annoyed with the situation and myself.

Had an early weigh-in yesterday and STS so at least have corrected the terrible start to the week. Might weigh in on Monday instead of saturdayo give myself time to register a nice morale-boosting loss. ;)

    Breakfast: fruit n fibre (300)

Lunch: sandwich or something will be out (400)

Dinner: quorn escalope and salad (400)

  • Hello
Managed to sneak on here before OH comes in so have caught up with the posts. Trying to remember all I had read on Tues was impossible so even if I don't post I want to drop in more regularly.
I had a pedometer but it was playing up, I had done some good amount of walking (time wise) but it wasn't counting so I threw it at the wall and broke it. Wasn't going to buy another one but I know I'm walking less now so will have to rethink.
Yesterday went with friend to pizza express, tried their new pizza light- they have taken the middle out of the pizza and filled it with salad. Had mine without dressing. The blurb claims it is only 500 calories which sounds good, what do you calorie experts think? Missed out pud as we went to the theatre and had ice cream in the interval.
Very good friend has liver cancer and not long to go I feel torn apart, it makes me want to change my life for good remembering our time here is limited, but also to eat for England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales as our time here is limited so who the hell cares!

Good Morning everyone and special hugs to Procrastinator - sorry about your friend, and I do feel with you regarding the options with our limited time allowance!

I was totally on plan yesterday till it came time for dinner and everyone had other plans, DD1 was going out, DD2 wasn't feeling well and didn't want anything but a bit of toast, DH said he fancied pizza. So my well planned quorn pasta bake went out the window and I ended up having a smallish Tesco pizza - 45 syns!!:eek:

I am going to have to be sooo good for the rest of the week or Monday morning weigh in will be a bit of a disaster:o I have been feeling very tired since I got back or I would have done the pasta bake anyway and saved the rest for lunch the next day. But DH offered to do the pizza and it was just so easy to say yes:o:o:rotfl:

Anyway - today is a new start!

B - cereal with milk and berries
    s - peaches
    L - chicken salad
    s - scan bran cakes
D - baked salmon with rice and vegetables
    s - yogurt and fruit

    Love
    Marion

ps - does anyone know where muller yogurts are on sale any cheaper than Tesco - 50p each is just too much for me to! It's not the money - its the principle!

    Hi all :)

I seem to have discovered my achilles heel when it comes to losing. Even though I have stuck to the same kCal alowance every day I have really struggled to lose anything and some weeks have even put on. This week I havent had any biscuits, crisps or cake at all and have lost 3lb. Baffles me as I can't see the difference between having 84 calories from a choc digestive or 84 calories from a slice of dry toast but it seems to make a difference. Whatever the nutritional or scientific reason for it, at least now I know what works.

B: 2 wholemeal toast with HM marmalade

L: Leftover chicken chasseur with a tiny spoon of rice and veg

D: Prawn laksa with raw courgette and carrot salad

S: Maybe a skinny latte but not sure yet

Have a fab weekend all :)

*hugs* procrastinator I lost my auntie to breast cancer 6 months ago and my grandad 2 months ago, it's made me realise how precious life is and made me want to change my life for the better.

Zippychick I don't have a pedometer yet but today or tuesday I should be getting my Iphone delivered. I'm going to install one on that! Also a thing that can tell me how many miles I cycled etc, I'm excited! I'll try and start posting once I get the pedometer up and running :p

Also well done Rachel and Floyd. I'm also pleased to report a 1lb loss, 2 more to go for a stone yay!

Breakfast - Muesli with low fat yogurt
    Snack - Banana
Lunch - More baby leaf salad, with tomato and coriander chutney
    Snack - Apple
Dinner - Quorn Fillets with asparagus and a creamy cheese sauce

Have a good day everyone! :hello:
