Good Morning All - Just about to go and cut the grass and do hedge in the front garden before the neighbours start to complain:p. DD1 has taken Charlie for a long trek in the forest this morning and DD2 is prostrate on the coach feeling sorry for herself with cramps. DH is just irritating me this morning so perhaps a bit of physical exercise will put me in a better humour!

    Today I am having:

B - blueberry mini wheats with milk
    s - 2 plums and a satsuma
    L - chicken salad
s - cous cous cake with coffee
D - SS chips with Southern Fried Quorn goujons and baked beans
s - low calorie jelly and ice cream

    Love
    Marion
    ps - yesterday I did 6157 steps

    22nd
    B Qtr of smoothie
L 1 round HM wholemeal with HM corrie chicken
D pastie supper (small chip instead of large)
    S 60g Crisps!

I took 3 portions of crisps and realised on the last portion that I wasn't reading it as the 10g it should be. So when i thought I had served myself 30g it was in fact 60! Arg. I eat the pastie suppper too quickly = The owner was talking about closing so I panicked and started to eat quicker :o, missed my full signal and suffere the consequences the rest of the night. This is the first night i have binged or emotionally ate in 3 weeks  so feeling very annoyed with myself but back on the horse today.

E Cleaning 5.5 hours, Walk home 24 mins, Went on trampet (20 mins) to make my steps up to over 12500 so total 12593 . It's annoying when Im so close to 10000 I make myself do more to get over it! Today will be minimal as I don't plan on going far at all!

    Pedometer steps -

Don't worry about comparing your steps to mine or other people, and only post them if you feel it will benefit you! It's just like weight loss, each person is different.:D I get points on my pruhealth - for hitting over 10000, and more for hitting over 12500 so I have a very good motivator there. I am going to france in 4 weeks, and am determined to have toned up and slimmed down as much as possible by then. Normally I realise a week before hand and make a last ditch effort, but I am hoping to have a holiday where Im not constantly thinking im a chubby moo.!

I have this pic of myself wearing a certain pair of jeans and a bustier type top. Now. The good news is I tried it on today and can get the bustier on and almost completely zipped up, and the jeans only have a little overhang! This pic was when I was 11 stone ish so I am more than delighted. I may be tempted to post the pic up temporarily to show what I am aiming for (and how I don't think I need to be below 11stone just to be in perfect bmi range. I think it's a load of garbage anyway)

Blue - you do some excercise! WOW!

Been nerding up on the biggest loser and watching the first week online . I am so glad Rick and Michelle are gone as they both really aggravated me. More than a few tears shed on this , and I can't wait to see who is eliminiated on Monday. I am convinced it will be Sadie.

    Welcome to any newbies!

Phew, 12000 steps done today and managed to avoid temptations on the way (day on the beach usually = fish n chips and icecream), shared a packet of bbq quorn fillet slices with OH instead which at 69 cals I can live with.

Got some yummy reduced things which I will have for dinner later. 50p guacamole, 90p battered prawns with chilli dipping sauce - yum! We got some ryvita sweet chilli bite things to dip into the guacamole instead of doritos. So tempting to eat them when we got in as a "snack" and then still have dinner later but reminded myself that's how I've become a fat old moo.

Will make sure I get out and do those steps again tomorrow - this week needs to be a good week!

I think I am gonna need that exercise this week, first bad day I have had in about 4 weeks
Started to go wrong this morning when I woke up to find son number 1 had used all the milk and bread so had to have a healthy extra bar for breakfast which was nowhere near substantial enough as son number 3 had an all day football tournament and picnic was packed!
    Soooo
    Healthy extra bar
    banana
Half wholemeal pitta with salad and chicken
    half ham roll
    half cheese roll
    sausage roll
    2 chomp bars
    small bag butterkist
    quarter chicken chow mein
    third chicken fried rice
    2 chips
    4 prawn crackers
    chocolate trifle pot!

all I can say is OMG, what happened to me
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

Hi Bluetimone97, good to have you in the club and sorry you have had a bad day food wise, sure you'll be back on track tomorrow.
Zippy, I bet the way you are going you will be back in your holiday clothes in no time! My holiday is 8 weeks away so I have a few more weeks to lose abit more (hopefully another stone).
I have had a pretty good day food wise but my knee hurts again today after trying to do some low impact wii fit yesterday so exercise has been a no no again!! I have managed 10000 steps but that is just from my normal activity so doesn't seem like much. Will be going to the sea side tomorrow so will be interesting to see what I do then.
    B Porridge
    L plain omelete and salad
D HM pesto chicken pizza, HM potato salad and green salad.
S A glass of wine later!
About 1100 calories so far plus the wine so about 1200kcal. Not too bad. And I managed to keep under 1400 yesterday despite going out with my friends for dinner :cheesy:
Good luck all hope you enjoy the sun tomorrow

  • God bless you retiredlady and thanks. Am having a teeny tiny cancer scare, and dont want to make a big thing of it, since so many people on this site have actual diagnosed cancer, and just get on with it.

I'm probably fine and being a wuss.

    Hello
Please can I join in, I have reached the decision I NEED to just get on with losing weight instead of thinking, hmm I'll do it after Christmas/Easter/holidays any excuse!!!
I've got a knee injury at the moment and suffer from back problenms and have decided my weight isn't helping. My little boy starts school in September and I don't want him to have an overweight Mummy who can't join in with him and his Daddy on bike rides and activities. Also it's my 40th in January and I want to be fit and 40, not fat and 40!!!! Hope I haven't rambled on too much.
I've tried SW in the past but tbh find diet clubs for me too expensive so will try to do it the old fashioned way, so any support will be VERY gratefully received.
