    Good morning all

Well done to everyone who is on track and losing
Hugs and positive thoughts to anyone that needs them.

Retiredlady - I bought Mullerlight in Asda for 30p each on Tuesday. Just looked on mysupermarket.com and they have now gone up to 54p.

Floyd - I think our bodies burn the calories from unproccessed food much better than the ones from cakes, biscuits, crisps etc. I lose weigh much easier when I cut them down or out completely. Also feel much healthier too.

Day 3 of calorie counting/portion control for me. Went out for a meal last night which took me over my allowance slightly but had too few day before so it balanced out :T
Have already been to the gym this morning. Off to start work now.

    Have a good day everyone.

Hello all! Just the afternoon to go then 3 lovely days off!!

Yesterday was pretty good - my only syns were from the shepherds pie mix (3.5) and a low cal lolly I found in the freezer whilst doing an inventory, so probably within the syn total for the day.

    Today's food will be...

B - cereal (Milk to dog) (B choice)
L - small bagel, spready low fat cheese (A choice), fruit (free)
D - quorn shepherds pie (3.5 syns) and peas
    S - packet of discos

The bagel is not SW friendly really but low fat am clearing out the freezer and am loath to throw them away.

E - lots of dog walking today - mine for about an hour spilt into 3 walks and then Scooby the great dane for about 45mins - this is more of a jog than a walk and hard work!

Hugs procrastinator coping with terminal illness is just awful but I am sure you are doing the right thing trying to eat as healthily as possible, the last thing you need is to be worrying about your own health whilst worrying about your friend.
Zippychick I have a pedometer, will dig it out tonight and start posting my steps too, not sure how accurate it is though as I did a 5+ mile walk (from a walking book) a couple of weeks ago and it said I had only walked just over 2 miles, but the number of steps seemed fairly reasonable so might just be the stride length that is wrong.
    So far today
B Mushroom and tomato in soft bread roll, yummy!
L Jacket pot and tuna salad
D don't know going out for dinner with my friends and we haven't settled on a restaurant yet. Am hoping for an italian so I can have salad. Dreading them choosing tapas of something similarly nice but fattening. Fingers crossed for a low cal option as don't feel motivated enough to have a blow out and be able to get back on track!

Well I got weighed and have another 2lbs off! I am now 12st 4 for the first time in almost 4 years. I need to look out some old pics of myself at target weight to see if i HAVE set the right goal. I would like to be 11stone, but will settle for 11 5 in the mean time as I dressed up as WOnder woman one year and that's the weight I was and I looked fab! I need to be under 11 to be within the normal BMI range, but I think if I go below 11 I would start to look scrawny . I am top heavy . Sorry, im waffling. Just thinking out loud!

Glad to see a few joining on the pedometer. Yest i finished on 13963! Today will be over 10000 but will update with my food later

Procrastinator, hugs to you my friend.

Have to run, Biggest Loser time!
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

OK, I will start posting my steps as well, but it is embarrassingly low compared to zippychick:o:o
Yesterday I walked - 5840 steps - and that was a busy day for me!:o:p Actually posting our steps is a good idea, it will be an incentive for me to move more in order not to make myself look like such a lazy moo!

    Love

Hi guys and gals, can I paly please? Been at slimming world 8 sessions now (7 weeks), and rejoined a gym 5 weeks ago to help tone up.
I have lost 11lbs so far in that time, am aiming for 2 stone and then will probably readjust as do not want to think too big at a time!
I go to the gym on a Monday morning for step & tone, evening for legs bums & tums, Tuesday morning for body pump, evening for yoga, wednesday morning for body conditioning and aqua evening for gym session, Thursday for bodyjam (my fav), friday for gym and saturday morning for combat! Sunday is my rest day. When I do a gym session I do 10 minutes bike (70km an hour), 30 minutes treadmill (varying between walking at an incline of 7 and speed of 6 mph) and running at 8mph, 15 minutes rowing and 30 minutes weights and abs (with the gym ball).

    Today I have had
    2 weetabix with skimmed milk
    banana
    beans on 1 toast
    ham on krisproll
sin free wedges, beans and hm burgers
will probably have fruit and yoghurt later

I try to eat every 3 hours to keep my metabolic rate up! Also like to have at least 2-3 litres of water every day.
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p
