Morning all - am back in the UK and very happy to be so!

Its not been soooo bad over te past day or two but could have been better.

Thursday was OK with no extra eating and just a healthy pasta bake for tea withjust 2 tint bits of garlic bread
Friday was fairly good with cereal, a tuna subway and pasta and sauce and nothing else all day
Saturday was a mixed bag really - fruit and cereal in the day with a little bag of Discos then a curry out with friends - had onion bhajis and a mushroom biriani but couldn't eat more than a third/half of the biriani so I guess it could have been worse - I didn't really like the curry if I'm honest, I normally have a chana masala but the biriani was very greasy and not overly nice.

Today is planned as cereal, fruit then a trip to the cinema to see Angels and Demons then quorn fillets and salad with new pots/wedges for tea.

    Fingers crossed!

On the plus side I've done absolutely tons of exercise lately and can feel it in my bones! So hopefully the damage of the trip to Portugal won't be too bad?

    Have a good day!

Hi all, hoping to get back to it today with a 7 mile bike ride and decent food ;)

B: 2 wholemeal toast with HM marmalade

L: Ciabatta roll with mozarella and vine tomato and a scrape of pesto

D: Singapore vegetable noodles or chicken burrito and spanish rice, can't decide yet what needs using up more quickly

    Well done all :)

Hi all, been missing for a few days again, but been really good with eating and exercise, managed to lose the pound I put on last week and also another pound. A pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear for about a year I can now squeeze into :p

And well done Zippy and Kjm! Better me saying well done late than never :p
Also well done JoJo, great loss!
Welcome back to the uk Rachel and also Marion, glad you had a good time in NY :)

    Today I'm having:
Breakfast - WM toast with cream cheese
    Lunch - Pasta with brocolli
Dinner - Veggie Chilli made with TVP and loads of peppers on a baked sweet potato
Snacks - Grapes and a banana

This week will be my biggest challenge as my OH is away back home to see his parents for a week leaving me alone with a house full of food, but I think I'll be able to handle it now as I feel more in control at last!

    Have a nice day everyone!

Yes thanks Gran, I'm fine :D Just hopping along merrily trying to keep on the straight and narrow.

Dare not say it's all getting easier as that's usually when I fall off the wagon but, it's all getting easier ;) I'm thinking about bingeing alot less, probably down to only 90% of the day now :T

My boss has invited the team (5 of us) to her house for lunch in half term and I actually want to go and am looking forward to it. That's very unlike me. Think I feel in an OK place in my head at the moment. A few weeks ago I had started to have my old anorexic thoughts again but I recognised it and have been concentrating on eating even if I don't want to et.c to try and stop it. I'd rather be fat again then anorexic again as that was unbearable and extreamly hard to pull myself out of.

SO all in all everything is fine, looking forward to weigh day in 2 more weeks as I'm hoping for the scales to say 15 something. that'd be good eh?

Glad to see so many of you are ticking along well, keep it going ...

Hi all can I dip my toe in! I'm a lurker who has finally plucked up the courage to start posting, I need as much help staying motivated as possible and you all seem so nice. I'm 33 and finally started on my journey to lose a shocking 5 and a bit stones 6 weeks ago. I have always struggled with my weight ands spent the first 25 years of my life heavily overweight, culminating in a peak at size 22. I then managed to shed almost 5 stone through calorie counting and exercise and stayed that way until my wedding day less than 4 years ago when I was a lovely size 10!. Guess what it's all back on, the result of one pregnancy, 9 months breast feeding, (did not help at all I was starving!!) and most recently a year of trying for another baby and suffering no less than 4 miscarraiges. Anyway I have finally decided that I must lose the weight again, if only so that I can't blame that for my mc's. So trying for a baby is put on hold and I have approximately 6 months to lose as much as I can safely and healthily.
I have never done diet clubs, don't think they would work for me as I hate the thought of people knowing how much I weigh. I have decided to go for calorie counting and exercise again.
I started six weeks ago and allow myself between 1200 and 1500 calories a day and have invested in a wii fit and have slowly built up to doing between 30 and 60 minutes on the aerobic exercises on there atleast 4 times a week. Plus walking wherever possible. So far I have lost 22lbs which I know is brilliant but includes that 6lb water loss you tend to get in the first week of a diet, so I guess I have managed about 3lb a week so far which is just not sustainable, so I worry I will lose motivation now that the loses are going to fall to a more sensible 1or2 lb a week.
Anyway just wanted to introduce myself and will try to post tomorrow evening to let you know how I have got on!

Welcome to Mummyroo! Just one quick thing - people don't know how much you weigh at slimming clubs, they just speak about how much you've lost (or gained!) not the absolute figure. Its not like Fat Fighters and Majorie Dawes - thankfully!

Anyway, am getting back on track today - I have no more excuses, no travelling with work this week and no special events, just boring old life...

    Todays food will be...

B - cereal (milk to dog)
L - supernoodles pot, banana, satsuma
D - quorn fillet in tiny bit of reggae sauce, new potatoes and salad

    S - low cal jelly

    That's it for today (hopefully!)
    Take care!
